BILLY CORGAN ON THE UPCOMING NEW ORDER ALBUM?
Former Smashing Pumpkins frontman BILLY CORGAN is working with New Order on their forthcoming album.
According to reports from the US Corgan and BBC Radio One producer DJ Pete Tong are helping out the Manchester band in the studio.
Pete Tong who is currently in the studio working on the upcoming New Order album
had something really interesting to say to his BBC-colleagues. Tong revealed that Billy Corgan ex-Smashing Pumpkins frontman has sung a duet with Bernard
Sumner.
While the US rock god and Manchester indie stars may seem like unlikely bedfellows Corgan is a life-long New Order and Joy Division.
Corgan is also reported to be writing material for ‘60s icon Marianne Faithfull's forthcoming album although a vocal collaboration between the two singers is not expected.
