New album delayed ?

We have been informed that the new album MIGHT be delayed (which wouldn't be a very big surprise wouldn't it ?). The new album was scheduled for March with a single possibly called "Scientific" set for a February release. This has all now been put back. While the album was lately rumoured to be released in July 2001 it might now be released only in September 2001. The recording process is still very slow. London Records are keen for a summer release
and the box-set "Recycled" is still in the pipeline and may be released before the new album if recording is delayed more.

Recording is slow due to Steve & Gillian's family commitments and also Hooky has new Monaco promotional work. All the band members travelled back to Manchester for christmas (the studio being located in Bath) and according to our source no one has returned back to the studio.

Four tracks are finished with Steve Osborne producing with 3 tracks part-produced with the Chemical Brothers and more songs have been written and are currently at the demo stage with a possibility of being recorded in February. Among the completed songs are 60 Mph and Crystal.

Bernard & Hooky appeared on UK television this weekend talking about World In Motion which was voted onto the top 100 UK singles!
