NEW ORDER HAVE BEEN RECORDING A SESSION FOR BBC RADIO 1 YESTERDAY
According to John Peel, famous for his Peel Sessions, New Order would have been recording a session last night for BBC Radio 1. It is quite possible that this session would be part of a new "Peel Session" album that would be the following of two previous Peel Sessions EPs by New Order, and two by Joy Division.

It is quite possible that this session would be part of a new "Peel Session" album that would be the following of two previous Peel Sessions EPs by New Order, and two by Joy Division.
Two weeks ago, New Order recorded on video the Joy Division classic Transmission for John Peel's 40th anniversary party. It is thus quite possible that this song has been especially re-recorded by New Order officially yesterday. The band might as well have jumped on the opportunity to record some of their newest songs as well.
The release of a new Peel Sessions album might also feature five songs that have been reworked, recorded and broadcasted in 1998 for that same show (True Faith, Touched By The Hand of God, Paradise, Isolation, Atmosphere). New Order have also reworked and recorded Temptation during these same sessions, but it wasn't broadcasted until used for a concert for the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester. The song is known as "Temptation 98".
This new session could add enough material to release a full album of new Peel Session versions. At the moment, this is pure speculation. More details when they come, and until them, you can always listen to The Complete BBC Recordings, the combined re-release of the two original New Order Peel Sessions.
