NEW ORDER IN THE PARK
New Order are to play an open air concert in London's Finsbury Park this summer, dotmusic has learnt.
The event, scheduled for Sunday June 9, will see support from French duo Air.
Ian Brown and legendary producer Arthur Baker are also rumoured to be performing.
Tickets for the 30,000-capacity event go on sale Saturday, March 9.
Meanwhile, New Order are to release a new single, 'Here To Stay' on April 1.
The track, produced by the Chemical Brothers, is taken from the soundtrack to the forthcoming Brit flick, '24 Hour Party People'.
The film, which focuses on the life of Factory Records owner Tony Wilson, documents the rise of New Order, the Hacienda nightclub and the explosion of the 'Madchester ' scene.
'24 Party People OST' is released through WEA on April 8.
