Peter Hook slates Radio One playlist
Peter Hook is delighted the latest New Order single hasn't made the Radio One playlist.
He says it's a compliment because he doesn't rate the playlist.
New Order's forthcoming single Here To Stay was produced by The Chemical Brothers and is released on April 15.
Hook told the BBC's Liquid News programme: "I can sit and say we didn't get on it this time and I'm delighted about it. I think it's a compliment in many ways to not get on it because to be honest with you I think Radio 1's playlist is pretty crap.
"The thing that really galls you about it, is when people stop it getting to people who make up their own minds. What's happened is Radio 1 make up their own minds - not just about us - the Chemical Brothers couldn't get on there.
"There are millions of people who don't get on Radio 1 playlists which to me is censorship and that's what we were all against and we're still against it now."
