SOMEONE LIKE YOU RELEASED AS A SINGLE IN THE UNITED STATES ?
An in-house advanced promo CD of New Order's Someone Like You has been printed by Reprise Records' offices in Los Angeles, California, and has been circulating lately.
It is thus quite possible that Someone Like You (also often referred to as SLY, even if it brings a sad Stallone connection) has been chosen by Reprise Records to be released as Get Ready's second single in the United States, while, as we know, the track 60 Miles an Hour has been chosen as the second single in Europe by London Records/Warner Music.

The several hints we have who tends to confirm this are the following:
Someone Like You, as NewOrderOnline announced earlier this month, has been released as a promo dance remix package (2x12") in the United Kingdom. Here is a picture of the sleeve:
Several of these remixes were included on the 60 Miles an Hour single to be released next Monday, November 19th, in Great Britain.
Therefore, considering all of this, we can certainly expect Someone Like You to get the official single status. More news and details when and if we get them.

The several hints we have who tends to confirm this are the following:
- Record companies do not usually print these kind of items if they do not plan a commercial release;
- A long time ago, Reprise Records' representative Jon Masciana has stated that the United States would have a different schedule not only regarding the release of the album, but also regarding the tracklisting and the choice of singles;
- Several remixes of Someone Like You have been made even though that song has not been chosen for a release as the second single of Get Ready in the United Kingdom or Europe. It might be logical to think that these remixes were ordered by the american label.
- Reprise Records recently released a 3 tracks promo CD named "Extra Order" (see yesterday's news) on which a remix of Someone Like You can be found and, incidentally, this is the latest of the three tracks found on that CD.
