There's another one like that out this weekend, "Mona Lisa Smile". Everytime I see the ads for it I think "at last, Dead Poets Society for chicks!"

It's not bad, but please, don't even consider comparing this to Dead Poets Society, which is, btw, my favorite movie of all time...
It's a chick movie, no doubt about it..
But I've seen better college movies.. anybody remembers the movie School Ties? When you look back at this movie, you note that everybody is a "big" star these day, and they were all unknown then, except Brendon Fraser for his Encino Man... (!)...

I have Dead Poets pretty much memorized...if only because every teacher in middle and high school at some point in the year insisted on showing it during classtime :D . I liked it well enough, but I was always puzzled as to why all the teachers thought this was "appropriate". After all, one guy kills himself, and the movie basically promotes ignoring teachers. But nonetheless, I saw enough of it in high school to do me good the rest of my life. No offense and all
