Watched the Berlin and Romeo Void ones. Only saw about 10 min. of the Flock of Seagulls one. Good stories about the bands, but why is there only 1 full song performance included in the shows?

Well I feel parly to blame, I took him to see Einsturzende Neubaten at the Hacienda, in the mid eighties. He pretty much leads a quiet life these days.

Teenage Fanclub Embrace Belle & Sebastian Eels Love & Money (well out of character with the others I know!!) Muse & Radiohead.

Oh & as well as a few obvious ones I missed in my top 5, but others have added, add The House Of Love and The Icicle Works.

I saw 'em in London before Xmas. They did that 'Don't Stop Moving' one as an encore - highlight of the night.

Oh yeah, she was lovely. I always think of Matt Ashman as one of those guitarists who never got the recognition he deserved , me and our Steve followed The Chiefs Of Relief on their Weekend tour in the eighties , and he was a superb frontman. Still once the Daily Mail said they were gonna be massive, they were phucked.

yeah, sadly died in 1995 at the age of 35.

I was disappointed when I watched the episode of Bands Reunited, on VH1, for Kajagoogoo; they seemed like regular old blokes, but I wanted to seem some freaky Brits instead

Kajagoogoo weren't freaky though, were they?

Bunch of poseurs, perhaps, with a dodgy line in hair bleach and plus-fours but they weren't as freaky as, say, the Cure or something at that time. when I was a young kid and saw the 'Too Shy' video on VH1, they seemed extremely strange to me

After watching ... Celebrity last night with Lydon, I had a brief idea for a spin-off where all the contestants were punk survivors. I thought of Genesis P, and possibly Jimmy pursey as likely candidates for that one.
