That was a great result tonight and even better that REAL MADRID are out.:thumb:

Shame about ARSENAL though...........

You have to feel sad for the ManYoo fans though. If the Arse had won they could've at least stuck with the red/white bedspread and curtains for next season.

Now they've got to change everything to BLUE!

Missed you at KW, Dufford. Quite a big crowd from here - quality gig(s). Actually probably best you weren't around - went down the Dogstar with ShugZV and the Hibster after the midnight gig and it was full of West Ham starting drinking for their early kick-off against Millwall! :eek3:

Aye fair play to the Chelsea:nod: Kinda gutteed cos I had an inkling Chelsea would go through, and I also fancied Monaco to win 3-1, but with my recent prformances on the ole coupons I decided to stay clear of the bookies:nonono:

Have fun Duffers......and behave;)

still shocked! :eek3:

anyone would say Milan will the winner as it´s the only important team of the bunch. but after all the surprises we had so far i wouldn´t put my money on it ;)

Monaco, Chelsea, Milan/Deportivo, Porto/Lyon..... any bets? :skeptic:

Milan and Porto for me. Chelsea/Milan final, classic game, Milan to win trophy again.

Surely a Milan-Chelsea final?

Milan's squad is incomparable, but it's still only XI against XI on the day.

And if Shevchenko has already been tapped up by Abramovich beforehand ... :eek3:

After Jose Mourinhos comments about Celtic, I hope Lyon gub Porto, cannae see it, but I don't wish them diving thetrics on anyone. Personally I think Milan will win it as well.

Well done Chelsea!

was stunned R.Madrid went out but taking nothing away from Monaco it does give Chelsea a fantastic chance of getting to the final (where they will in all likelyhood lose to AC :evil4: )

How sweet it is. I've away from this site for a couple of months or so, work, life etc. etc. but I'm back, probably a bit less often than before, but it's good to see the same old crew here.

Blue is the colour, football is the game, we're all together and winning is our aim....

Roll on Monaco! And nice one Claudio R, you are THE man.

Good to see you back Mr Van Basten:nod:

Fully agree with your sentiments towards Ranieri, he's given all of us many happy moments with his post match interviews, very likeable guy he is, I wonder if he will keep his job even IF you win the European Cup. If you's do it would be a travesty to see him replaced with Capello or Trappatoni et al.

When we play you's in Seattle it could be a pre Super Cup match:D

That celebration by Claudio when Chelsea scored the winner was priceless! it must surely go down in legend as one of the best manager celebrations ever!!!!!

Nearly as good as MON jumping about 28 feet in the air when Hartson's goal hit the back of the net at Anfield;)

Sorry Hanky:D

Thanks my old chum. Shame I misssed the NOOL London piss up the other week. Perhaps we should have a repeat when (if) Chelsea get to the final as that will be 26th May, just a few days after the 20th anniversary of the legendary RFH gig...

Deportivo 4 - Milan 0! Depor goes to the semifinals and Milan goes home!

:wtf:

and Lyon 2 - Porto 2

congrats to them. now we have weird semifinals. i bet nobody would have thought about Monaco vs. Chelsea and Deportivo vs. Porto!

my bet (april7th/2004): Deportivo La Coruña to be the champion of Europe. those guys must have something after today´s match. :thumb:

I guess this "something" was the help of one of the most idiot coaches I've ever seen. Rivaldo was right...

Mental result from Deportivo, I don't think anyone in their right mind thought they'd gub AC 4-0!!!

It's anyone's trophy now. But after THAT result, you'd have to favour Depor.

Remember Richard from Kraftwerk? He's a big Depor fan (his Mum's Spanish and lives there). We were out for a stag do last night then I gets a text from him just going "Depooooooooooooo" (he's in Bulgaria at the moment) so I knew something was up. Couldn't believe the result when I got in.

Still, if Gattuso wasn't good enough for the Scots Prem what hope did Milan have?! :eek3:

Amazingly enough I can remember him - couldn't remember him being a Depor fan, mind you we were a wee bit pished.

Paul - Porto are a good team, it's just still sore from last season's final - and their manager trying to wind MON up by saying Barca would score 4 or 5 past us and that we weren't capable of playing attractive football......TOSSER! I'll be cheering on Deportivo (Sorry Jorge;) )
