excellent allan...what a great single that is/was..pretty much every version is great. immaculate taste young man.
TPK (since I'm in the middle of programming a cover of it), and Love Vigilantes (just because?).
Feel Every Beat by no one other than Electronic, although that stupid D12 song, "My Band," which played about 6 times on the radio while I was at work, almost took over ![]()

The Cure-Close to me
also Love will tear us apart, i got 30 people at my school into the song hahhahahah![]()
Desperately needed to cheer myself up after a dreadful past couple of weeks, so singing Let's Have A Patrick Swayze Christmas by Crow T. Robot, with Tom Servo and Joel Robinson backing him up, helped quite a bit today.
Hurt by new Order, I can play the drum machine pattern with my teeth and and have the bass synth bouncing around in the background.
can you tell I am bored.....
"Don't Do It" by New Order...and I swear, I'm not trying to be bigger-New-Order-fan-than-thou. It's just right there stuck in my head.
Don't worry Mike. My sock drawer has been completely filled with NO bootleg cds. Thinking about putting in Studio 54 and leting Your Silent Face drift me off to sleep.
Uh oh, now "Your Silent Face" is stuck in my head. Thanks a lot, twist. Why don't you piss off? ![]()
(Let's see, where is the smiley whose mother is washing its mouth with soap?)
Depeche Mode's "Never let me down again." I'm kind of curious about the line, "As long as I remember who was wearing the trousers."
We have to pay for everything...........but some things are for free!!!!!!............We are Sparta FC!!!!!!!!
Country On The Click, by The Fall, finally came out here, and Sparta FC is the track, also a new single, that I found shouting along with. Nice one MES.
always on my mind by PSB always gets stuck in my head...but i did it on purpose since i was going to work
'september' by earth, wind & fire has been stuck in my head for about a week now. probably because it's on constant replay in my car's CD player. it's my current song obsession right now, and a damn good song at that.
love vigilantes was stuck in my head all day at work...began as digital's cover of it, and soon became the original version.
"well, you just can't believe the joy i did receive when i finally got my leave and was going home"...was what i was singing to myself on the way out to my car for the drive home.
Maniac Roadsweepers, banging on about tolerating this and children will be next. Or is it the Stranglers ?
well today it was that whistling song from kill bill, there are some birds out the front of the house going for it & they are pretty damn close, nearly note for note ![]()
Don't want to know if you are lonely by Hüsker Dü and Peace of Mind by The Grapes of Wrath randomly haunted me all day
Placebo - Daddy Cool.
I watched the video of the original Boney M version of this song in a nightclub last night. Right now I'm downloading this video, I HAVE to watch it again. It makes Lionel Richie's "Hello" look like a masterpiece. ![]()
Driving round the countryside today, turned on the radio and heard a couple of things that I hadn't heard in a while. First, on an oldies station, was Duke Of Earl by Gene Chandler, then I flipped the dial to a modern rock station, and heard a lovely vocal going "Dooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.......doo doo doo" over a thumping bassline. Wynonna's Big Brown Beaver by Primus of course, just glad I didn't hear that daisy song by Ween.
and all fooking night...at work...I had Ready Steady Go by Paul Oakenfold and Pump Up the Volume by MARRS stuck in my bean!!!
Sad, but true!!!
Saw some white guy in a Mitsubishi sedan that had Pump Up The Volume cranking. He looked like a well behaved college bred virgin. I nearly pissed my pants laughing.
Everybody wants to rule the world...by tears for fears...since it was playing on the obnoxious soft rock station that is always on at my work.

Pump up the volume, pump up the volume, pump up the volume, dance, dance!
I think those are probably all the words.

Pump up the volume, pump up the volume, pump up the volume, dance, dance!
I think those are probably all the words. Takes me back to running laps in high school gym class whilst being forced to listen to Jock Jams *shudder* EVERY FOOKING DAY blasting over the speakers of the cavernous, echoing gym. :barf:
Been playing Show by The Cure over the past few days (first time for a few years), and off that terrific album I can't get Just Like Heaven and Trust out of my head. Top quality from Bob and the boys.
Temptation. Early versions of Temptation like from the Pasadena gig recorded days before Taras. Did they realize at the time what a monster that song would become??

Indeed, Show is an excellent concert, but seeing the Show video, with all of the songs, is even better.
Its been one of those days in work where you hear a record you hate then it hangs around your head all day! Today it was Mc Fuckin Fly! How shit are they? Like a tribute Busted band...![]()
At work, a hybrid of "Bigmouth strikes again" and "I know it's over" was stuck in my head. I think I've been listening to the Smiths too much.
Rachel "Im a great shag" Stevens,i thought it was a new Goldfrapp tune-UK noolers will know what i mean. A tragedy.
this afternoon is very cold & twas looking at my hands
so erm it is pulling my fingers off - wendys
another olde factory band
That record Jack Black & the kids do at the end of School Of Rock-i dont even like heavy rock?
I've started running recently to get more fit. While running the past couple of days, I keep hearing Morrissey's "America is not the World." Over and over and over.
"In America, It brought you the hamburger. Well America, you know where you can shove your hamburger. And don't you wonder, Why in Estonia they say, Hey you, Big fat pig, you fat pig, You fat pig"
Can't imagine why I keep hearing it.
Drove the last 45 minutes of the 4 hour plus drive from Seattle listening to The Mekons song, Fantastic Voyage.
Sam Phillips tune that I cannot remember the name of the words but I heard it when i took my son to the DOT for a photo ID.

Us and Them
Damn, that new Cure album is starting to grow on me
I don't want you anywhere near me get your fucking world out of my head
Yesterday I had WIM in my head, but I did buy the single for a friend who turned 21 yesterday and claimed WIM was her favorite NO song
But, today, it was the Smith's "I know it's over," playing over and over in my head during work. But, last week at work, I did play that album, the Queen is Dead over the speakers, and later the Cure's Disintegration, and not one customer complained. This Thursday, I'll probably play Substance... or a bit of PSB.
physedelic furs---until she comes (it kept skipping, so i forced myself to get pretty in pink in my head instead)
Kashmir - Led Zepplin, not really annoying me but heard it earlier today and the riff is stuck in my head!
Still Morrissey's "I Like You."
His new CD is probably his best ever. I don't know how he does it, but he seems to have gotten even better with age. He's hitting notes most young singers can't hit.

VANISHING POINT......."MY LIFE AIN'T NO HOLIDAY".
This was playing as the ex-girlfriend left her dog at my house whilst she goes off on holiday. It's raining here in CHORLEY and i am trying to stay off the beer due to a) lack of funds b)work in the morning after a 05:30 am wake up call to take her dog WALKIES c)last SUNDAY was rather boring in town.Funny how a songs lyrics can really reflect what is going on in one's own life.
BOOKED IT,PACKED IT,FCUKED OFF......and she did.Hope she buys me a nice present though.

One way conversations do not work somehow.......and nor do two-way private conversations in public!
I am listening to the sound of my keyboard as I type.
