relistening to Harmony + Singles....this CD is so good. took a bit to totally sink in but there are some stunning tracks on here.

I didn't rate it at the time, apart from the exceptional 'An Immaculate Conception'. But I got the LTM re-release and I have to agree, it's fantastic - much more powerful than I remembered. The clean echoey sound and a lot of space between the instruments really works and there are some great keybd sounds too. AIC is still the best track though - absolutely spellbinding.
I dug the LTM reissue out this morning for the walkman into work......mmmm... has not dated well at all and the production is very poor. a couple of standout tracks but overall I think it is pretty lame insipid stuff. Will give it the benefit of the doubt tho' and listen to it some more.
recall seeing them support the NO in the Low Life mini tour early '85 - can't say I was that impressed then.
Praise to LTM though for re-issuing all this stuff and more.
well i think that all the wake stuff deserves to be heard, what did happen to them after sarah records though ? and not that goth band on cleopatra either
