egads, flipped on the mercury music show and caught S&B playing live. never seen them before. never heard them before so don't know if thats how they sound normally.
weak. underhearsed. insipid. the vocals were very out of tune in places and too high for the singer in others. chord structure reminded me of Deacon Blue, but they were good.
this won a prize? i've seen more balls and musicianship from local bands.

did you heard only one song ? I can't believe it's enough to say wether they are good or not ! I've seen them live twice this year. It' was brilliant. You should try to listen "Dogs on Wheel" EP for a beginning.
