Actually my dad says they were in the stand surrounded by foul mouthed Glaswegians, one tapped him on the shoulder and apologised for his countrymen, anyway a few minutes and a severe dose of whiskey later he was as bad as the rest of them. :beer2: No change there then.

The Brazilian players are doing alright but what a waste of money was Ronaldo. 12 million Euros and he only scored 3 points so far.

You should have spent the money on Gilberto, injured at the moment but a Brazilian and, to please the Celtic masses in the league, I understand he is of Irish extraction.

Half of my team ain't gonna figure, though not sure if I should be ditching 'em now cos it's gonna cost points to replace them en masse later, or leave in certain players who are still going for the UEFA place, in the hope they have one last swansong, before I then ditch them.

Info taken from the UEFA fantasy football website (http://en.uclfantasy.uefa.com/M/rules.mc): "These rules apply to the group phase version of the game. New rules will be available in December when the knock-out phase of the game starts". We'll have to wait, then.
I'm also pissed off with Chelsea for putting Terry to rest, but all that really matters is that I'm still on the top of the league, mainly because of Kaká, who scored 14 points. :D
if it's anything like the rugby world cup one you will be given a whole new tranche of transfers
so you can get rid of any hooped people etc.
Knock-out stage starts tomorrow if anyone is interested. You have to pick a new team consisting of 12 players to the value of 100 million Euros. You can pick as many as 4 players from the same side. I think multiple transfers are free from now on in between matches. http://en.uclfantasy.uefa.com/
