During my nap my daughter decided to pour a liquid down the side of my monitor. When I woke up I tried to play with the pc and noticed that the monitor light was orange although the tower lights were green. Reboot failed. Then I noticed the smell of furniture polish and traced to to the leftside of the monitor.
The resolution was a trick I learned years ago. Unplu it and leave it alone for a few hours. Did the trick but the fumes are giving me a buzz.
