The band's debut tour (with JJ Gilmour of The Silencers on lead vocals) in April 2004 ignited the flame, followed by a further two mini tours and release of a live album. In Spring 2005, the NEW Casbah Club line up will record Debut Studio Album, of all brand new material for release in Autumn 2005. NEW lead singer is SIMON TOWNSHEND (younger brother of Pete, and who has been part of The Who line-up for last 9 years) He will join BIG COUNTRY members BRUCE WATSON (Guitar) and MARK BRZEZICKI (Drums), plus THE JAM and STIFF LITTLE FINGERS Legendary Bassist BRUCE FOXTON in this melting pot of immense talent, which will be sonically driven by the twin guitar attacks of Watson and Townshend and the awesome rhythm duo of Foxton and Brzezicki. Live set will include some classic songs from the past individual incarnations, plus the band will be performing songs from their forthcoming debut studio album (all new original material).
