I came across this band while listening to an internet radio station back in the late 90's. I bought their CD and was blown away at how good they were. I highly recommend them. It's a blend of Smith, New Order and synth-pop that will have you listening over and over again.

I like Iris. I think their sound is more Depeche Mode-like than New Order though (or Camouflage or any other DM inspired bands). They're a local band from Austin, Texas, and have a nice synth sound.

Yeah, I bought their cd too...very cool stuff. I only have their "Disconnect" cd.
Yes, I would agree that their sound is more in the direction of Depeche Mode, but more or less, they are still in the same synth-driven genre.
"Annie, Would I lie to you" is an excellent track.
