I don't like her songs but it surely effects me cause she's only a woman after all. Just a proof it can happen to everyone. It scared the shit out of me, if you must know. Hope she gets well soon.

Yeah, very sad news wether you like her music or not. Let's hope she beats it and provides hope to thousands of women in the same situation...

It looks like it was detected early enough for her to fully recover :)

Don't count on her tour though. Unlike Britney on her last tour, Kylie has a valid reason to end her tour early.

I dispute that...Britney had to go find the Wizard with the Scarecrow (her hubby), the Tin Man (Jason Alexander...the other husband, not the Seinfeld guy), and the cowardly lion (Michael Jackson). She's got plenty of good reasons to quit her tour. :evil4:

Not a fan, but not enough to wish her dead. Much love to her recovery and continued good health :thumb:

On a related note, why can't Justin Timberlake just die already :nonono:

Sad news. Not that I am a fan but she did spice up Blue Monday at Old Trafford. Meanwhile Paris Hilton is still a DSW as is Britney. And that grey tit of Janet's still gives me nightmares.

The point is, it's not just Kylie, it's that it could happen to every woman and I'm not ashamed to admit I'm really really scared.

Funny how all the KYLIE'S ARSE comments dried up real fast, replaced by a bunch of "sincerity."

Bad news indeed to hear about Kylie, my mother has survived it by getting it caught early, so let's hope the same for Ms. Minoge. :thumb:

Can we try and keep these comments supportive and not be tasteless please? I know she is unlikely to visit NOOL but all the best, I'm sure you'll be OK, I really do.

Hope she beats it. Bugger I actually got a DVD of Can't you out of my Head on Sunday, after bagging her here a couple of weeks ago.

I sort of know what she and her famlily are going through. My mum had breast cancer about 10 years ago, and beat it. Unfortunately she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer 2 years ago (not realated to the breast cancer). We thoght she was fine until the cancer returned earlier this year. Prognsis not good.

Thanks M. Its a long process. Yesterday she had a blood test to see if she can have chemotherapy tomorrow. Basicly the Doctor told she's not going to get better. All they are tying to to is to keep her stable and comfortable. She is at home at the moment.

So far people here have been told to hang onto their tickets, as the tour may resume later. It may be different oversees.

If I were you I'd see if I could get a refund.

My mom had it way back when. I was running back and forth at four years old to bring the rubbish pail over for her to ralph into after her chemo therapy. Not fun stuff for any party involved and fairly terrifying at any age .

I can't say I ever have liked her music, but I do hope she gets better. I can empathize as my older brother had cancer, luckily he was cured, as it was a type of cancer that has a 98% cure rate or something like that.

Wonder what they will do, get a replacement headliner or upgrade another group?

At last, another Justin hater! I was beginning to think I was the only one here. I've got so many reasons to hate that man that I can't even begin to list them. Let's hope he quits music soon and buggers off.

As for Kylie, it looks like she's got a good chance of making a full recovery, as other people have said; I heard that she won't even need radiotherapy or anything like that because they got it early enough. Good luck to her and to everyone else who's going through similar things right now.

They're going to get a replacement headliner. Seems to be either Scissor Sisters or Stevie Wonder, although Claptons name has been bandied about.
