I'm making a band with another artist from myspace. It's going to sound like My Bloody Valentine and The Jesus & Mary Chain type distortion. I'm going to do guitars & bass, my friend is going to do keyboards and drum machine, just need a female vocalist now.
I've recorded a demo, which you will hate, of LWTUA. There's no keyboards or drums on it until Thursday.

Some instructions I sent to someone:
"Do you have a pc mic? And Sound Recorder? I hope you do. Sound Recorder is on most computers: Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> Entertainment -> Sound Recorder. It only allows you to record a minute, so the best thing to do is to record nothing for a minute. Click record again, it'll let you record another minute. Then it should've extended to two minutes. Click record again so you have three minutes of recording space on Sound Recorder. Play the mp3 with headphones on and record the vocals on Sound Recorder in time with the song. Save the wav file from Sound Recorder and send it to me. I'll mix in the vocals with the rest of the tracks using the program I use to record songs."
And my other band member is in Mass in USA. I forgot how to spell the name of the state. 
Haha, that would be something with my funny foreign accent. Anyways I'll see what I can do in the next couple of days.

Great - can I join?
I'll record myself playing the Run Wild guitar (which I 'learned' last night) and send it to Maya, she can do the vocals and send them both to you.
I could even do the melodica - I bought one at Glastonbury.

Sounds cool. However, I was hoping to make a band with my friend and with a female on vocals. I'd love to hear your song though. :)

Nothing yet, sorry. I had a terrible food poisoning last night and at 4 am I was even thinking that maybe I should text Biginoil and let him know that I was dying so he can let everyone know. Also, skipped my work today and fook, me, it's only 10:40 am, can't be arsed to sing in a condition like this. Tell you what, I'll give you the deadline - Sunday afternoon, if that's alright?

Haha, that sounds ok. I hope you get well soon. And you have to sing the verses too! The verses are when the guitar dies out. :) I await the vocals!
The quality of the first demo is better, I guess. Dunno Marc, I'll sing to whatever you say, hehe!
The quality of the second one drove me up the walls. My speakers kept crackling when I recorded it, which I did numerous times. I'll try and rerecord tomorrow, I've played LWTUA too much today and it's late now. :P
So Marc, a mate is coming over here from Switzerland today and we will probably be recording vocals over the weekend. I think he mentioned something about wma files being very difficult to send via e-mail so he suggested to convert wma to mp3 file but only if that's okay with you. If not, we'll make sure to find the right solution as soon as possible. Anyways, here's my quesion for you: Which version of LWTUA should I sing to: the good one or the slow one? ;)
