Looks like that'll be my birthday present to myself that day, dunno why BBC America recently showed one episode of KMKY ( the one where he's trying to outwit two 13 year olds) and have then started with a number of episodes from I'm Alan Partridge. Could be I missed something somewhere, but I love watching the shows either way.

I checked that on IMDB before I had to go pick up my grandma (she was down at my mom's, helping the kids paint their rooms all day), I see there was more than one "Alan Partridge" show.

I don't know if I can find any of those anywhere near here, and Amazon has discontinued their money order option for some reason (communists! ), so I'll just have to take your word on it

Absoultely LOVE the Partridge stuff, I've got KMKY, and I'm Alan Partridge series 1 & 2 on DVD. There's far too many great moments, but the ABBA duet/medly was truly fantastic, particularly Alan sing (and do a little dance) to "a man after midnight' or whatever it's called.

I have Brasseye as well, though it's DVD copy from a mate. I hope to invest in a DVD burner before too long AgentW - I'd be glad to help out when I can, but I have to get to Europe and back before I buy the burner! CTB

I've got the Day Today box set - all the episodes and some extra stuff, including a documentary about the fact that the real TV news has, in fact, turned into The Day Today. The series itself is even better than I remembered it, especially the Partridge slots.

I'm sure I've seen Brass Eye on DVD too - all you need is a region-free player and you can see them all.

All the Comic Strip films have been released on a box set too. Any more of this and I will stop listening to music all together!

the US didn't get the day today, alan partridge, or brass eye; i only know about them because i lived in the UK for 6 years. although sometimes they show alan partridge on BBC america now (digital cable).

having said that, the pedophile episode never would have made it past the US censors.
