i have decided to change my name because I'm not 100% comfortable with having my real name on here- nothing to do with the people on NOOL- you are all super lovely, more of a general internet thing. So what should i change it to? i was thinking gay sperm, but maybe not...

Good idea to remove your name- i've had the same hotmail address for 7 years and after I started posting here my access was blocked to it, thanks to some funky virus. I managed to sort it out, but it caused a lot of aggro so i've changed to a nickname and barred access to my forum profile. It's sad, but you've got to protect yourself.
Re; Nickname... not much in your profile so I can't decide much on the basis of that...
How about;
MatterOfFac
RunRabbit (based on your email)
LadyLu
??????????????

Didn't we have a discussion about the gay sperm statement a while ago, and it wasn't actually read? ![]()
Maybe i've been a bit of a dope... what's all this 'gay sperm' business?
I hope the answer doesn't set me off ranting again...
used to be on the side of Hooky's speakers...NO???
I get it, but I would not advise one to use it...
way tooooooo controversial...
not that we here at NOOL are averse to contorversy...
gay sperm was a music equipment rental company that new order rented from , so all the gear had Gay Sperm Painted on it. at least thats how i remember it

There's already someone posting/lurking under that name!
I'm thinking about getting my girlfriends (soon wife) surname. Mine is Andersson, and her's Tedert.
But not as an ID on NOOL. I'm talking real life. :)

What's wrong with Andersson? ![]()

Nothing wrong with that, except that 10% of the swedish population are named Andersson.
Maybe not 10%, but 5 or soo.
@Rian: Not a man of the masses
.
I could change my name from Katja to Bere officially, because everyone calls me Bere since I was in 5th or 6th grade (even my parents do so until today).

Anders Andersson?
Probably a few, and I don't like it.
Sven Svensson Johan Johansson Per Persson Ivar Ivarsson
etc....
Nah, Richard Tedert is far better than Richard Andersson.
I'm thinking of changing my name to "Superfunkalicious Bootyshakin' Master-Blaster", but not for the NOOL forum. I'm talking real-life, people...![]()

Oh yeah... Rian you are McGuyver, aren't you... You're incognito in Sweden now and left out the "Dean" in your name... Gotcha! ![]()
Bere wrote: Wasn't there an actor or singer called Richard Andersson?
I have no idea. Not a swedish actor, in any case.

changed, can't believe someone didn't have this one already! lots of good suggestions but didn't want anything to like my real name. I was so tempted by lunacy though...

So is Bere a real name, or does it mean something else???

You have to defuse a madman's nuclear bomb with only a toenail clipper, two tickets to the Dodgers game, and your cantankerous old uncle Stu to help you...now go! ![]()
"24" has nothing on the tense drama that was "MacGyver"...

my friend alun from swansea (wales) seriously considered changing his surname from millington to jones because he thought millington was too 'unusual' for wales.
just what wales needs: another jones.
richard andersson: you'd blend in well in minnesota. even more so than in sweden, i'd imagine.

Fook me. I had a schoolteacher called Alan Millington. Turd.

That's one of the reasons why I want to change my name.

this alun (with a 'u') is a schoolteacher, as well. but he's my age, so unless you're actually a young boy from swansea posing as a thirtysomething from london i doubt he's the same one! ;)
I just had a great idea for a NOOL name here on the site. Not that I'm thinking of changing mine, but if anyone wants it they have to give me credit for coming up with it. Here goes...it's inspired by someone else's NOOL name...heh-heh ![]()
Patrick Duffy Appreciation Society
Yep, someone could pay tribute to TV's "Bobby Ewing" or whatever that character was from "Step By Step"...if they dare! :p

Not bad, but the whole "RIP 1963" doesn't really work...unless you want to go for the obvious and do "JFKRIP1963" or "aldoushuxleyRIP1963". I'm putting way too much thought into this, aren't I? :p
