Actually, we have talked about Barcelona. I have a mate from the The Chamelons forum that lives there. Would be ace to finally meet him.
Barcelona is always a good bet!
Another much more unknown European town is Brasov in Romania. It defo meets the romantic criteria, but it's a bit difficult to reach though. It has very pretty, if somewhat deteriorated architecture and it's surrounded by hills and mountains. And it's near the place on my current avatar!
Btw is that the city hall in the background of your pictures?

Yes, it's the city hall.

Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Rian (and I just figured out yesterday what your name "means.")! You make a beautiful couple. And it was especially nice that you got married while your kids are still around to see it. ![]()
Definitely Venice for the weddingmoon, by the way-- the most romantic city.
Much happiness and a long life together!

Thanks for all good wishes. I'm sure we will have many happy years in front of us. We already have 14 happy years behind us.

Hehehe.
Well, it wasn't only because of love we got married. We somehow had to. I got a daughter from before, and the laws are a bit tricky here if you live together with kids, but aren't married. If I die, my daughter from before has to have her share of my money right away. That might force Sara to sell the house just to pay my daughter.
Now when we are married, my daughter has to wait for her share until Sara dies.
Boring stuff, yes. And hopefully no one will die.
But the main thing was because of LOVE!

And you sure has a good point there.
Friends of us, who had been together for 10 years, decided to get married. 6 months after the wedding, they split up.
Another friend of mine has the same history, and are probably going to divorce.
Fingers crossed......
