I'll leave that to you, DC. Or perhaps HW.

Interesting that you should have been recalling just today how the last reprimand from on high drove Huntsman away.
Patrick wrote: So now we are being reprimanded for being off-topic in the off-topic forum?
No, but I'm saying there are a few too many of them floating around right now... and I also said there was a forum for this for people who wants to publish some.
But I didn't close or move any of them ;)
maybe they thought the polls forum was a forum for polish new order fans.its fair point though
So are we going to be given guidelines on what is a proper topic for an off-topic poll here?
Or are we to count the number of current polls compared to non-poll threads in order to decide whether it's permitted to start a new poll?
Do Poles need permission to start a poll here, P?
You think they'd have some sort of natural right. Do we know any?

I can't recall any Polish pollers. Or Polish posters for that matter.
Let me be the first to say that State of the nation is rubbish. Can't remember last time I checked it. First we got noolers complaining about polls on Digital Republic and now this! Why is it called SOTN anyway?
Fuck that, BCD rocks! :D

I'm polish-american. Does that count?
there are some polish members.

That's a shame isn't it.
I just checked the database and apparently there are 11 of them lurking about.
So if you see Waclawski or Juggler anywhere, perhaps give them a friendly wave, Pats. Get them in here so we can start loading the place up with some serious polling.

Well spotted Jonathon. If you let him go a bit longer we might see something in CAPS or an exclamation mark, perhaps.

Actually I am most likely to express really strong emotion through the use of multiple identical smilies. So watch for that.

And do you have much experience as a pole dancer?

I have observed their work on more than one occasion.
I recently attended a wedding where the bride was a large-P Pole and I danced with several of her friends.
I think my eligability for this forum is assured. Perhaps I could even be considered for moderator of the Pole pole poll forum?

I believe you have been elected.

Will that be from dr or just the polish forum? I would miss Patrick.
Oh alright, you're not banned. The sudden crowning went to my head and I banned the first person I saw.

That's a great relief.
If I doesn't annoy anybody, then so be it, but I felt like there were many polls taking way too much space in here... just a personal opinion.
I always said I'd let this forum go on his own, and that's what I'll do ;)

All of the forums get irritating sometimes, but the place is so busy that threads soon disapear and the tone of the place changes again.
It's why I love here it so much.

So, I'm not the only one to realise that.
But not just polls, there's a overuse of really boring threads like I've never saw here before. "The hottest this", "The hottest that", "long this or short that", and other threads often fall in some completly uninteresting fake affair among NOOLers.
Not much subject lately I suppose.

My practice with subjects that I find uninteresting is to ignore them. I find it works very well. You might try it.

That doesn't work with the TITLES...

Life's full of little trials.
