I do have catch words every week.
Few weeks ago it was "ghastly".There've been "vermillion", "bemused", "opaque", "vernacular" etc. :)

The Japanese have a great word "bakku-shan".
It means a girl (or poss bloke too) who looks great from behind but dissapoints from the front.

I think that he only works in Denmark. He's american.
my favourite word of all: муха (pronounced 'mookha' with a back-of-the-throat 'kh' sound). it means fly (the insect) in russian. i love saying it and it's much more charming than the object it represents.
Murmur and essence: both easy to say, and they roll off the tongue smoothly, some of the reasons M. Stipe chose the former word for the title for REM's first album.
Macabre is one word that's kinda bugged me, can't really pin point why though.
