a word that amuses me is sesquipedalian, which aptly enough means the use of very long words !

what about "zzyzx??" i have clue as to what it means, but it is the name of a road in eastern california. you pass in on the way to vegas.

Don't really have any special preference in general, but I've always liked the way EGG uses the word 'disarrangement'.
