I mustn't go for 'laydee's' tastes in music then. I hate all of that wishy washy stuff. I was subjected to 'You're Beautiful' every day thanks to a compilation CD that gets played at work. Now I've got his new one being blasted at me, over and over and over again....

Oh that's mean... Listening to the same stuff at work over and over again is devilish. In the cinema I work in I've gone through that torture for years. But after renovation we play no more CDs, but music from a computer. That's much more choice and it's the staff's stuff
. And my working space is under control of that music machine
.
I don't like him at all. But hate him? Nah, I'm a person with love in my life.
I don't hate, I dislike.
:)
too strong a word.
don't actually hate anyone, but their's a certain club 30 miles up the road from me that play in red white and black. but hate?? not sure. just can't stand the twats.

You should sue for emotional trauma.
I hate him. I also hate Katie Melua and all those other crappy piano playing teenagers...
...although, I do like Big Band and old time Swing music in small doses...
monty wrote: Rap and R'n'B. there are the odd exceptions, but the radio's infested with it!
Oh yes... Rap and R'n'B ist the last thing I would listen to. Even more worse is german rap. It's so ridiculous...
I hate the band A-HA since 1985... I began as a little war with one of my school-friends. We battled who's better Simple Minds or A-HA. I still can't stand that norwegian crap...
I don't hate him, i think thats abit unfair to say about someone you don't know. BUT i don't like his music and turn the radio off everytime i hear his dull drone.
Hes one for the David Gray middle of the road generation of music lovers.

Good idea. And they should pay for all of these therapy sessions that I now have to attend...

"hating" pop stars is a thing i went through many many years ago.probably when i was around the same age as Christopher ,who started this thread is.It was great to hate them. But now at my old age i find it takes up too much energy that can be better utilised elsewhere.
But i do PITY some pop stars.Robbie Williams for a start.Caught a press conference of his the other day.He was trying so hard to be earnest and yet funny at the same time.Yet failed miserably.Embarrasing.

Being a Stoke supporter, he supports our arch rivals, Port Vale, so that is enough reason for me to hate him anyway ![]()

I have been told off by Doctor Clayhead for slagging off Stoke's players ('we've got to stick together us Potters fans' etc). So I want to retract that quote made by myself regarding Simon 'Studger' Sturridge. I haven't changed my mind about James Cnut or Robbie 'Fat Boy' Williams though ![]()

Jim Garrison.
A scumbag who ruined lives based on his JFK assasination theories.
You probably saw him played by Kevin Costner in JFK(1991)

You've got to get your hatred out there somehow.

And Chavs.........
i don't hate anyone (never have) except for my sophomore college roommate. things got so bad i ended up sleeping with a butcher knife under my pillow until i got emergency housing. actually, three of us moved out. why we had to move and not her, i'll never understand. she probably would have beaten me up except that she was about 5'4" and 100 pounds and i was 5'9", about 140 pounds, a varsity rower and would have snapped her like a twig.
if i saw her homeless on the street today i would step right over her. seriously. it might be cruel but she put me through hell that i won't go into here.

We talkin' "hot women behind bars"-style stuff here or what? ![]()
My roommate during my first semester at college had all afternoon classes, while I could only get morning classes. So more often than not, I would be trying to sleep while he was wide awake...and listening to Phish ![]()
So Phish pretty much is my major object of hatred ![]()

Look, man, I told ya we needed your car for a beer run. Just tell your brother that you left the car unlocked out in front of the house one night, and the next day you walked out and it's gone! The insurance company will buy him a new car! Hell, it's gotta work better than the truth.
Face it, Comrade...you fucked up! You trusted us! ![]()
Taboo # 7 wrote: Justin Timberlake
Seconded! He's definitely one of the biggest twats on the planet. Some other things I hate:
- People who take way too much interest in what their neighbours do
- The price of everything in my country - how expensive?
- Selfish family members (don't ask)
- Wet days
- People who walk too slowly in front of you when you're trying to get to the bus stop
- Asshole taxi drivers who won't take you home after a club. It's all very well them saying "Oh, the law says we're not allowed to pick people up off the street" but when most firms won't let you book taxis home any more (even if you offer to pay the fare beforehand), what else are you meant to do?
People who think i'm strange for not owning a car.
People who think my home should be all modern and trendy.
People who chat at the sales counter while a whole queue waits.
People who idolise Robbie Williams![]()
i could go on and om...
But i don't like to spend much time hating. It really is a waste of energy. If People wanna be dumb let em.I'll just get on with me own thing ,thankyou very much and :finger: to all of them
I can't decide if I hate James Blunt's incredibly irritating voice more than Pete Doherty's incredibly irritating smug, self-regarding, posturing, weaselly face.
I think on balance I'd rather see Doherty get smacked in the face than Blunt.

Words cannot express how much I despise this wet and his soggy love songs. He's got that sort of gormless face you'd never get tired of smacking with an acoustic guitar ![]()

That "you're beautiful" monstrosity was one of his was it not? I haven't got the wrong irritating fingernails-down-blackboard singer have I? That song is the third part of the unholy trinity of unbearable songs that just the TV and radio won't stop playing, the other two being Bryan-king-of-the-bland-Adams Godawful "everything I do" and Whitney-tiresome-Houston's "I will always love you". All three combine blandness of delivery with triteness of lyrics all rolled up in a slit-your-wrists inducing power-ballard tedium. Please don't let there be a fourth part to this trilogy.
