No bugger. They're all shite. Bonzette, I can proudly say that I have never seen one programme of X factor.
Entertainment at its worst.

I agree. I saw my son in his Christmas play on Tuesday, they were all amazing, singing all their songs.
They put the x factor to shame! Only 3,4,5 years old. Hands up, i cried my eyes out. I was choked. Dead proud though!
Nothing to do with music is it. It's at best mass porn, at worst masturbation for the nation.
It's down to who's cute,popular and do-able.
Thtis is an opinion often refuted loudly by fans of this style of "music".
however a little social experiment is in order. Now...New Order have already done the first part of it with the video for crystal.....getting a bunch of young, dynamic beautiful people to be the band. it undoubtedly sold sveral records to Newcomers.
The second part recquires a unicorn...no hang on....a pheonix....no and honest hourno...nope...ahhhh a boyband with a send of decency. You get them to record 2 songs that are almost the same (just reset a couple of numbers on the writing machine....i'll get to that). then release one under their own identity and another as a made up band called ...I dunno "C-Nuts"? which features myself and some of the other uglier scum on this place in the video. We release C-Nuts first to prevent hardcore fans of the actual boyband refusing to buy it cos it's a rip off, (of course that would require the musical appreciation skills of a fresh water clam...which would have long ago made you work out you;d been buying the same PISH TUNE over and over and over again.).
IF the music is what's important both records should sell broadly equally the entire time. whereas in the real world the boybranded one would outsell the other 3 to 1 until they did ToTP when they outsell 300 to 1.
Music is not an exercise in marketting, it is an artform, and expression of the innermost workings of the greatest known miracle in the universe....the human soul. The universe itself is music (don't mean to be a hippy but there you haveit) everthing is related to vibraion, cycles, waves (don;t do the wave/particle thing please). You can't hear most of it cos it's minute and on all sorts of bizarre frequencies...but you can hear Jupiter and it's spot on the radio at a very specific frequncy (no I dunno just now) and tou can hear what's called the "schuman resonance" which is not unlike the phenomenon that makes MRI scanning work....the planet "rings" when lighting goes off, causing this bizarre tone. I recall reading that it was a good way to measure total lightning activitu planet wide and as such a good measure for Global warming should it be as we think.
Space and time did NOT sit round and think " do you think hydrogen should radiate on 21 22 or 23 cm....I think 21's in this this aeon." Birds do not alter their songs to better suit our needs, nor to whales, that is real hantural music. These pandering controlled anal secretions of anthrax test animals ae an insult to our entire species.
they are not only insulting however, they are damaging. this bland pish that replaces music a lttle more each year (not the music gets any WORSE as such...hey I seen the 80's, and live. it's more the whole surroundings of it.)...is eroding not only art in out time but ART full fuckin stop. the West will be a cultural desert, not in the way that pretentious art wankers sometimes say it is now....but really....eventually they'll hurl all that crap out of the Tate (after all market research shows that paintings are not sexy and only some percent or other like them), and replace it with "the blazing squad experience" as the epitome of UK culture.
Shooting ourselves in both feet frankly.
and bollox to all of the aboce......the music is FUCKING PAINFUL!
Karoake Factor...I attended 2 plays with each of my daughters in this week,I never cried.I must be hard.I loved it all the same![]()

Those painkillers kicking in, by any chance, young Steve?
Oh yeah...BTW...when hearing this kind of "music" Am I the only person who hears George Orwell's "authoring machines" from 1984 clanking in the background....churn out the same high pictch bucket of sun jellied horse cum over and over and over and voer, varying only minute details. this is one I have to walk away from for a while or I will start really screaming inrage...i HATE what these people do
I'm a sad cunt watching it as well, that Shane looks and speaks like the gay lad from Corrie.....Todd.
Wonder if he'll be doing a WILLie Young when he wins it.
I wanted that Brenda to win it, she got a bit of RESPECT from our hoose ![]()
Dunno Bonzette.....could be the pills, tha pain or the no sleep, but hey...it's crazy time :)

It was such a good play. me and my son have come soooooo far this year. he was dressed up as a shepherd- dead cute, and he had to say "we've come to see the special baby":) It was such a good play, apart from the angel tripping over and nearly launching my son off the stage with her!
Seriously though, i was very proud. I have not cried for months, getting hard in my old age, but it's that feeling of love and proud in the heart. You know what i'm saying! Sure you felt the same way:)

it failed here, with a bit of luck the x factor won't be back here. the last series of Oz Idol didn't do well either. I hope these shows will disappear, so real programs with scrips will be put back on.

While I don;t feel justified in that little error, I do think I can be excused all things considered :D

Cos it's Saturday - the last one before Christmas - and I had to go in late (so I could get tix); so rush rush rush when I got there, freezing cold in and out of venue, loading, unloading food....... Piles of dirty *** from last night's 'do'; 300 lots of plates, cutlery, serving stuff....to soak (no staff in today); yuk. Everything aches - so tired I just sat and watched the xfactor (really, just to see if Simon Cowells trousers have done battle with gravity yet!). Thanks for mail by the way, just sent you a reply.:)

No worries - really quick and easy. All my shopping to date has been over the Net and got it and paid for. But I do still have quite a bit to do as well - with another busy week - and the kids off school.......![]()

My son finished school yesterday, so just add that to the list of things that need doing next week
It never, ever stops!
Andy Abrahams (? I think); his version of Me & Mrs Jones should have won - it was really good! Nice guy as well.
The thing is, I have little doubt that Steve actually does know what a high pitch bucket of sun jellied horse cum actually looks (and probably tastes and smells) like.
