what is a chicken "crisp"?
like a potato chip soaked in grease? a pork rind? a Chicken McNugget mystery chunk? chicken "fingers"? deep fried slice of chicken skin? a Cheezit? chitlins? something else altogether?
A "crisp" is what you lot inaccurately call a "chip"....which is doubly stupid cos it meant you had no word for Chips and had to call those Frenchfries.

I've had chicken-flavored crackers, but no chicken flavored chips. Although, about 10 years ago, there used to be taco flavored Dorritos.
Or maybe it's a barbeque chicken flavor.

You sound like my parents.
so you can get 900 odd flavours of ice cream over there but not chicken crisps?
that's just weird.
my vote goes to golden wonder skins - mexican chilli & cheese flavour
obviously when I voted C+O, I said Tayto out loud.
It's the first thing ex-pat irish folks (ex-paddies?) go mental over not being able to get. followed by potato bread and soda bread. I don't think I've been away long enough to find out wat comes next.

I've got (whats left of) a 16 pack of Tayto C&O in the kitchen right now:D They have closed the original factory (in Coolock - northside of Dubland) this year - so they are now being made (on contract) for them by MrPerry up the road in ashbourne - still the best crisp though!
Salt & Vinegar Bones, but they ain't existed for 25-odd years, so of the current crop will probably plump for Golden Wonder Salt & Vinegar, when I can find them. Or maybe Skips or Wotsits. Pickled Onion Monster Munch also deserve a mention.

you can get taytos over here - the cheese & ham toasties are best imo - but they aren't really crisps - they're maize snacks.
