No. Anyone who's got even a casual knowledge of post-Smiths Morrissey & Marr relations will know that any chance of reconciliation is slim to none. I don't see how a charity gig, however worthy, would or should change that. Besides, half the people on the MvC bill probably think he's a twat as well. I reiterate, would you go if you were him and under those circumstances?
And maybe Hooky laid into him partly because of this missed opportunity?
No and you're twisting what could've been Hooky's reason to fit your own assumptions. If you look back through recent Hooky interviews the reason why he thinks Morrissey is a twat is clear, and has nothing to do with his absence from the MvC bill. As we already established Morrissey wasn't invited in the first place so why should he get stick?
And I thought threads were for debating... This is new order online and not morrisey online after all...
You weren't debating, you were wishing laryngitis on an individual everyone on this particular thread is interested in seeing live. So don't act all surprised and play the "I'm just debating" card when you get some justified stick in return.
There are quite a few of us on here who have spent the best part of 200 quid getting tickets for these shows and having someone chipping in with "I wish illness on the person you've got tickets for" isn't really going to provoke the best reaction is it?
I can't believe I had to explain those last two paragraphs to be honest.
