my mother did good by me, didn't she? i wish i could find the photo of me sitting on the rock in rocky mountain national park, circa 1977. i had on some killer bell bottoms--best-dressed two-year-old in colorado!
use imageshack to host. then you can link directly to the photo.
i have my 5th grade mullet photo handy, but the background hides the mullet and the picture is smaller, so i don't think you'll be able to see it in all its glory. oh, well.

i do already have imageshap on my home machine. my main prob is scanning, what quality is best for hosting on the net? as what sort of file should i save it?
whenever i scan the pic looks fine, but when i save it and open it its in black and white.
there are some real dodgy one of me on the rockefeller centre in 1981, that the world can't do without.
This is gonna be my first attempt at doing this; If it doesnae work could someone let me know where I've gone wrong. It's meant to be a photo of me at nearly 1 year old.

I feel a bit miffed that I can't get this link to work for the photo to come up. I've tried the insert functions for link and image and entered the Imageshack link(well the first version of it anyway). I'll go back to the Imageshack site for another version of the linkcode and that may work...otherwise

You need a hell of a hole in a microwave to let anything out. FWIW anyone with a 2.4Ghz laptop ( real speed that is,not something intelor amd made up, an actual 2.4Ghz speed reported by BIOS) the RF it produces is bang on the 3cm band used in domestic microwaves.... but without all the appropriate screening. Johnny! I love that picture! You guys look like you belong in some Ocean Pacific commercial. ![]()
Oh shit.I really am going too mad on this thread now. This was summer 1988.I was 20.Getting ready for a night out in a Blackpool car park.I think i was trying to do a Barney "Do The Ostrich" thing whilst apllying the deodorant. The car was my very first one.A Fiat Mirafiori

Was prob still pissed. And it was weird that around the time i bought that car was when the video for Touched By The Hand Of God came out (dec 87) .And the car in that video is the exact same model.Fiat Mirafiori.I hadn't seen the video when i bought the car.

It was (still is) this American brand of surf clothing that was pretty famous in the 80's with guys. My brother was definitely a fan. Most recognizable by being in pastel/neon colors/designs, like yours and your friends.
I dunno, I thought they ruled.
Towards that later end of the 80's, everything was near in neon, wasn't it though? I actually had the color fluorescent green as a favorite color back then. *shiver*

Christy, seriously, never done anybody doing pictures like this with their parents, it's actually pretty amazing ;) I think the only pictures I have with my dad are on my wedding day (they were professional shots).. otherwise he was probably always holding the camera ;)
my dad was a semi-professional actor and has his degree in theatre. he's an amazing character actor and it was fun to do this photo which is meant to portray a minister finding out about his daughter's 'second life.'
