I had a brainwave this morning regarding DVD rippage.....
Firstly, I ran that CSS-Region-free thing, and it reset the region on my drive...NOT good (tis OK, I can fix if I can be arsed, but I never use Dos-Xp to watch videos on an ugly poor display...why would I when I have an X11 server on my linux machine that looks STUNNING)...so maybe it's not the best plan for you to use it.
BUT...I remembered something about ripping encrypted discs.
If you have DVDshrink there, try this.......
Open the DVD with Powerdvd or whatever you play DVD's with, play a bit of the disc....then exit the dvd player and immeadiately begin the ripping process with dvdshrink.
See I seem to recall, that when a player opens an encrypted disc, it decodes the css keys and saves them somewhere, leaving the disc accessible.
