Finally just watched that film.
Have to say i was truly shocked and sickened by a few of the scenes in it .And it's based on true events? That poor lad got suspected of being responsible for it all.
Did the Aussie tourist industry take a knock at all after that film?
scary ain't it. it is sort of based on the disappearance of british tourist peter falconio. btw they've now convicted someone for that.
Yeah i knew someone was finally convicted in the Falconio case.
But Wolf Creek is based on an entirely different case isn't it?

to my knowledge it was in part based on the falconio thing. it was even banned in the northern territory when the trial was on.
