Haven't voted myself yet - it's a tough one, this... Unlike some of the NO Cup matches...

I can see only one winner here.

And that is New Order.

Won't that just resurrect the JD/NO are Nazis thing? On second thoughts - it's controversial - like it... Maybe we could combine this with the Sooty one - a picture of a load of skinheads with a banner saying 'FIST ME' would look rather fetching... But only if it were in ceramics...

I'm sure cozmonite could come up with something, or Burt could get his frisbees and marker pens out...

I'm not so sure if I can design another ceramic piece in time. Spring Break will come soon, and it takes about a week to get the piece to be finalized with the kiln. I can do photography. Now, when are the rules going to come up?

Burt Reynolds of course! You can tell it's a plate, the New Order cover is reconizable and I wouldn't mind having it in my kitchen.

Sorry Cosmo..if at first you don't succeed... try .....try again.. :rip:

what about Peter Saville? is he refusing to make commerative New Order plates or work in ceramics at all? what a snobby sod.

Yup..I'm replacing him, in between filming Deliverance 2: Piggy's Revenge..:thumb:

Goodness, is this one still going? Burt, I am concerned that if you take over from Saville, you'll be too busy designing pink Levis to put your full effort and focus into coming up with the ceramic skinhead'n'sweary baby masterpiece... Otherwise Owens will take over and there's no telling what he might type into his search engine...

Are we going with the foul-mouthed sweary baby skinhead thing then?. How am I sposed to put that on a plate?

Not necessarily... Actually I just thought it might be nice to do a collage of all the suggestions we have had so far a la Sgt Peppers... So we could squeeze the little bastard in somewhere... You want to go with the font on your avatar?

I think you are reading into it too much. :guitar:

Well, the smiley is a bit grim for a defeat in a mere poll. I like the guitar smiley as a contrast because I just listened to the Doubts Even Here covers for Community 2. I'm thinking of participating in the next competition.

Burt, I think YOU should have an exhibit at the Museum of Bad Art! You won...

Cozzer..

If your musical abilities match your artistic abilities, you are gonna come out with a feckin classic!

Well, I'm having a few obstacles for this. The only instrument I can play is the violin. I do have a keyboard (from the 80s!), but I don't know how to play it. I can set the sound scheme to violin, though to get some good sound for a cover. And I also want to have an electric drum set for my birthday. The hard part is to integrate all of the technology together and/or find some band members. Depending, of course.

I'm sensing ya missed the irony, cozzer..

but hell! play away. I reckon 'Fine Time' with a violin could be a first.

Fine Time would be cool. I'm thinking what other songs I could use as a "plan B." And about the irony, Burt, let me make one thing clear: although we have been sarcastic to each other's artworks, do not underestimate me.:shades:

I found you a guitar player, now all ya need is a bass player and youre set.

Unfortunately, he does not resemble 2% of my DNA.

Already posted on the "Check my new avatar out!" thread, so here goes:

Good news: According to the e-mail I have received today, I will donate my beloved PC&L ceramic trivet to the oncology unit in my university's hospital. I did my art for a good cause. I don't know if anyone in the hospital is a NO fan, but I hope they can understand the roses I've painted on it.:) Good-bye, PC&L... hope you go to a good home.

Mebbe I should be charitable and send mine to your oncology department too. Gimme an email address and I'll send them a J-peg.:)
