Diggy, when I have a chance I'll see if I can dig up some vintage magazine articles of Juliette that I have in my collection and either mail them or scan them to you. But they are in a storage place so it might take a while for me to dig them out.

Who is she?

She looks like a less-pretty version of Isobella Rosellini.

it's another word you old timers won't get, like "mint" for example

Old-timer! I'm still in my twenties (just), I'll have you know! Mind you I'm used to it - as a teacher, school kids have no idea of age - I've had anything up to late forties as guesses for my age... I shall definitely try to use this new vocab in conversation sometime though! :thumb:

Jack, I think 'mint' has been doing the rounds since the '80's.

Maybe it's just a Manchester expression? Although I'm sure cockneys have been using it for donkeys too.

just that i've never heard an adult say it

You're the first person to ever call me an adult.

Thankyou.

Either the meaning of that has changed since I was a lad or I've not been paying attention at all!

Er, the Mondays used 'Bummed' in a very different context. It basically meant 'fucked'. If you'd Bummed a bird, you'd fucked her. They didn't think they could get away with calling an album 'Fucked' though.

Before you were born though, Jack.

Just fucked?

I've always thought bummed meant fucked up the bum?

Didn't the Mondays know the difference? Didn't they care?

Or am I just taking it all a little bit far for a Saturday morning?

Apparently not, in Monday's parlance.

Just meant fucked.

Funny, only the Mondays could call an album Bummed thinking they were being clever.

Alright, anyone know how "Yes Please" got it's name?

They liked the PSB album with a similar title.
