about 3 times is the norm for me.It goes off at 7 and i gradually wake up in 3 stages.I'm not one of these people who jumps straight out of bed whne the alarm sounds.A fairly short snooze on mine - about 7 mins ,they sometimes around 9 mins.

ahhh well top of the mornin and all that:yawn:

three times is about the usual. goes off at 6 and I try and be in the shower for 6.30. seems like an ungodly hour but it's the only way to get myself sorted before the rest of the family wake up.

i currently beat my alarm clock by about half an hour, bugger. so i don't.

Twice, and the missus has an extra one... Try to be up by 6.15... It's not right, really, it's not...

I snooze mine about 6 times. I hate mornings, i'm definitely not a morning person.

I hate mornings too but never hit the snooze button. I jump out of bed at the very first sound of my alarm clock always being rather grouchy for about half an hour, so I refuse to talk to anyone till I've had my first morning coffee.

There is unfortunately no snooze button on my alarm clock/cell phone.

So I have a series of alarms set

0500 0515 0525 0530

I have these two set incase for some reason I can not get up 0545 0600

9.8 times out of ten I'm up after the 0500 one but like this morning I slept until the 0545 because I was up late last night (this morn).

Supposedly if you hit the snooze button you've undone all your rest for the night before and you should really fight through the first minute of sleepiness grogginess than go back to sleep. It will only get worse with each progressive hit

Depends what time I have a lecture, if it's a lazy day like today, quite a bit. Had my phone set for 9:20, went back to sleep until 10, then back until 11 with like ten minute intervals.

As soon as the alarm goes off at 5.30am I'm out of bed - clock is across the room, it gives me no choice but to get up!

Twice, usually. Goes off at 723, get up, hit it, go to the bathroom, back in bed for 15 mins.

i don't hit the snooze button enough, i hate getting up in the morning

Wifey needs to get up before me. If she hits the snooze button I remove the covers and force her to get up. At that point I turn on the radio and find out what shitty things happened overnight.

I'd punch you in the face if you removed my covers

Maybe 3 times when I'm at school. At home, I hit the snooze button twice as much. I try very hard to not sleep so much, though.

I have to put my alarm clock away from my reach so I have to get up to switch it off

Otherwise I would miss the bus every day

Once that I remember, but likely more as evidenced by my usual lateness. That time between the first snooze pressing and my actual wakening is really when I get my best dreams in.

i'm sure my best dreams come around 1 am - 3 am

3 times

alarm goes off at 0610

hit snooze

alarm goes off at 0615

repeat until I HAVE to get up at 0630

but I don't go back to sleep during snooze period - just lie awake trying to come to terms with the fact it is morning and I have to get up, get on tube etc etc. Going back to sleep would negate my readjustment period and put me in a seriously bad mood for the rest of the day

like lots of people on here I am definitely not a morning person. But I find it helps if I've got something really good to listen to on the ipod - eg the latest RICKY GERVAIS PODCAST!!! - almost look forward to getting out of the house!

Three times, nine minutes each, on a morning after I got in too late, usually just once other though. Not a big deal to me in general, work is only a two minute drive, though if I'm walking to work that day, I won't hit the snooze at all, just get right up.

Anybody else have their clock set ahead? Dunno how mine ever got half an hour fast, but it did and I kept it that way. Probably doesn't achieve anything in the end I would imagine.

I don't hit the snooze I just get up and face the day at 5:30. I don't realy have much choice though because as soon as the wife hears the alarm she grabs the quilt and cocoons herself in it! selfish biatch

5.20am every day on the dot, dont bother with snoozes. Drive to wk listening to 'wake-up' music like Mogwai or Underground Resistance

Hell, I had to get up at 2:30 am today, as I do ever Wednesday for work, the good news being that I was done by 10 am though. I'm up at 4:30 am on Tuesdays and Fridays, 6 am on Monday and Thursday. It's definitely worth getting up that early on Friday when I'm usually out of the office by 1:30 pm, and most every one else is stuck until 5 to 6 pm. :thumb:

A minimum of three times (8 minutes a piece). Sometimes it'll take up to 6 times. I hate mornings.

I don't hit the snooze button. Instead, my alarm goes off and I usually go back to bed. Sometimes, I wake up in 10 minutes, others, I fall asleep for another hour and wake up, only to jump out of bed, shower, dress, and sprint off to class.

In high school, I used to be able to get out of bed at 6am every day, without going back to sleep. I wish I could still do that.
