Number One Song When You Were Born?

I always thought it would be interesting to go back and see what songs were at the top of the charts when you entered the world. It might say something about the culture into which you were born, or the course of your life, or what your parents were listening to when you popped out, whatever.

Unfortunately, I have no idea what was #1 when I was born  But it's October 9, 1979, if anyone knows of a way to check :thumb:

Might be interesting to see...

Hey, it's better than "Candle In The Wind 97" (I always thought poor Elton and Bernie managed to make the first version which is decent but nothing to crow about significantly worse by trying to fit lyrics about Diana into the original song. And there was the fact that you couldn't escape it on the radio, no matter how much you try) :banghead:

Strange - that's two cup games we've won in under a week now, and there's been absolutely no banter following either - we are a bunch of good losers, aren't we? Just wait till the Blues beat the Reds tonight, then it'll all kick off... :)
