Well with the quality of your trivet/plate thingy with blobs on it, cozzy, sure.

I still know a good Greek restaurant who could use it.

Burt, when are you going to stop mentioning the Greek restaurant?

When you stop mentioning your art..

OOMPA!

Besides, its a lovely greek restaurant. Nice Taramasalata washed down with Ouzo.

I'll donate it to the oncology unit soon, but I will continue to keep my promise in not changing my avatar. Oh, BTW, Burt, my word association thread is going great for a week. Continue seeing my awesome design in my posts. :D

I noticed that every time that thread drops off the page, you post again to bring it up again..lol

Ahh well.. little things, etc

Love the flames, Cath, but that ought to not happen to my wonderful trivet after the donation. Hey, maybe the flames are hot enough to melt Burt's away.

huh? ya dont make saganaki on a trivet.. or a plate..

OK, I took it way too literally. Knew it was about the "Greek restaurant," but I thought your pic was a way of you joking about my trivet's destruction. Geez, I'm way too serious. :\ohwell:

You dont need flames. You just need to smash it with a hammer. Save the oncology unit an embarassed 'thankyou', with lots of awkward faces.

Hey, at least my art stands out. But you could be right about the awkward faces. I don't know if there are people familiar with NO or PC&L in my college. But I don't care because I am happy to do a good deed.

It would stand out in the trash, amongst a load of white plates.. Yup.

And I really dont think ya need to be familiar with PC & L or NO, cos even us lot on here are struggling..lol

Suppose I get the pieces out, put it together, and make it to a mosaic? What now, Burt?

Jesus.. That would be a killer for archaeologists two thousand years from now. They would have thought we'd regressed.

Well, it would be a regressive artifact if a dog destroyed your avatar that you made in 3 minutes (unlike 2 hours for mine)and a garbage collector is the person who finds it. Hey, one man's trash is another's treasure.

woah!..

I've read that three times, and it still doesnt make sense.

TWO HOURS??... crikey.. you could use two hours to learn far more fundamental things, Cozzy.

Well, I took time in my art, Steadyhand Luke. I had to make a rough design, pick my colors and brushes, and (mostly) blending and diluting colors to get the different shades for the roses.

And what do you mean by fundamental things? Like how I should have anticipated that you and Cath are ganging up on me because of my art? I don't mind it at all, but why does it have to be always you two?

Hey.. I meant fundamental things like the English language.. Still can't make any sense of this post. Sounds like a mad woman spitting bile.

Yeah, look at the roses closely.

I don't spit bile. I'm way too classy for that, especially for a Barney's Angel. :D

And I can't see who is ganging up on you...

Your thread title suggested you'd had some divine intervention, and been told you might be the new Sir Jimmy Saville.

I was putting you straight. That's what friends are for.

Well, in this thread so far, it's only you and Cath who are replying to my posts. Now, I don't know if this is from the time zone factor. One thing I know is that we can be just as sarcastic to one another.

Anyway, what do you think of my roses? I applied 4 to 5 coatings on the petals' edges and you can see the effects of the dilution in the roses' interior.

All I said was oompah.. and than a comment about burning cheese. It's dinner time in my time zone

Relax Coz..

Is that what saganaki is, burning cheese? Must be delicious. I don't have Greek restaurants in my hometown, but there are plenty in my collegetown. I love Greek food.

wheres your college town?

Now then! Now then!

I gotta be honest, cozzy.. Yer roses are just red splodges.. its dustbin stuff.

Who is that? Rick Flair? :abovelol:

No its Sir Jimmy Saville...

He's far more likely to be your 'calling' than Peter.

No thats Rick Flair.. but I see the similiarities.. :abovelol:

OMG! :dead:

Still, I want to see if I can follow Peter's footsteps.

The only way you're gonna do that is if you stalk him, whilst shopping.

Well, would it be easier to just enter the contest, Burt? Why don't you give it a try as well?

LOL.. The difference between me and you, Cozzie, my dear, is that I'm fully aware of my limitations.

Burt, I just taken up a new hobby with ceramics, and it turned out better than what I've expected. Laugh all you want, but I've got support from Emma Peel, Snorri, Agent Wood, and Chrissi, etc. You know, looking back, most of my supporters are women. It's always good to learn something new.

It was better than you expected?..

ok.. I'm guessing low expectations then.

and, you know.. we are just being friends by giving you our honest opinion. As I said, that's what friends are for. Perhaps Jim'll Fix it for You.

It looks even more amazing close up, Cozzie... Burt, leave her alone, you're just jealous because you WFTSC thingy hasn't generated as much interest...

P.S. Fear not, the classic puffin avatar will be back soon...

now that's a high compliment, Cozzer, if someone calls you sweetheart.

I hope that you do the JD/NO tea set like you had hinted at a few threads ago. It could be cool, especially if you chose a pleasing color palette.

Just a thought!
