I may be wrong but wasnt she the daughter of some big cheese in the music industry and played a big hand in getting Black Sabbath a record deal?

Although I couldnt gove a fuck about her or Sabbath

Ozzy seems ok though, sort of heavy metal Bez.

ozzy the man who's sold his soul to sell butter, or he can't believe its not butter

True...he's now officially "satan's little helper"

Every word from his mouth is a turd falling in my drink. And as someone who now works in marketing or advertising....he should kill himself at once.

Music is SUPPOSED to be an artfom...you cannot be an artist and a marketing droid as well. Besides, if he made some records that sold he wouldn't need to beg money to tell people which butter flavoured polymer they should choke on.

Sadly, you are right, Cambo.:(

Sharon's da was Don Arden, a very infamous manager. I think he helped out with the Beatles in Hamburg, and was a brutal bastard. He ordered some of his goons to snap the spine of a guy who was selling botleg t shirts.

Sharon saved Ozzy. When he was kicked out of Sabbath, he thought he was going back on the unemployment line. Sharon said she would manage him.

Ozzy helped invent heavy metal, alongside Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward (whose wife recently lost their child. Sorry Bill. Good luck to you.)

she was the daughter of ozzy's manager after sabbath threw him out, she signed ozzy away from her dad, or something, cleaned him up because he was a mess and became his manager, then he took off and her father didnt speak to her for 25 years or something along those lines, i saw it on behind the music or something like that.

He's allowing himself to be portrayed as that. Shocking.

I happen to think everyone involved in heavy metal is a goon. Hence the Bez comparison. Just my opinion though.

They may appear to be goons, but they are intelligent. Look at the lyrics of such bands like Megadeath, Sabbath and Pantera.

Just my opinion.

since when does intelligence mean you cant be a goon?

I'm tempted to say the opposite is true :evil4:

Funny that, cos I always thought you was one of the more intelligent noolers :ignore:

I have despised most metal most of my life, But I have warmed to some of it now and then. Metalica for instance, and I can certainly appreciate, if not get wet eyed and lumpy throated about the likes of Pantera and Sepultura.....awesome talent.

As for Sabbath....hated them most of my life, but about 5 or 6 years ago I was at one of our (well Rich and his bro ) club nights and in the midst of lots of gay house music, someone put Paranoid on......FUCK! what a tune, especially up against limp ass handband vocal house. So from then I stopped going home when people put their records on and listened.....not a half bad bloody band. Prefer King Crimson tho...hardest band on earth one second, a chamber orchestra the next.

Actually I liked Paranoid, when it first came out. Had to keep my gob shut about it though, coz I was a 9 year old mod
