Just throwing this out there: Of all the Sixties rock stars Ray Davies is arguably the most English in terms of lyrical concerns and whatnot. Plus, he's a brilliant songwriter. ![]()
So it stands to reason that, whenever the current geezer holding the position of "poet laurete" or however it's spelled kicks the bucket, the honor should go to Mr. Davies. That's my opinion, anyway ![]()
