Was he/she OK? (the talented one, not the parasite on it's back)
That's BallyCassidy, isn't it? Fell out in front.
Lived to see another day. Shame, got good leg structure, would make a great steak. ![]()
Aye...some size of rump on the bugger too.
I kinda thought (twas a long time ago) Horse tasted like "Beef++" like really strong, aged beef.
But I'm gonna have to find out if horses are actually doomed when they bust a leg or whether it's just nastiness on the part of their owners. Must confess tho that while watching the national I was thinking "ah well if one does snuff it, it died doing something it loved", cos whipped arses or not, those buggers were loving every minute of it.
First, second and third!! Won ninety quid, wish i'd done a tri-cast, i'd have had about five grand!!

Thoroughbreds weigh 3/4 of a tonne. And look how thin those legs are. How on earth could you ever set a horse-leg so that it doesn't simply snap again. How do you tell a horse to keep it's foot up and rest?! Doomed as soon as they're injured, sadly.
Mind, serves the buggers right for attempting silly show-off jumps over very high things where no sane horse would dare think about leaping! ![]()
Obviously the equine equivalent of Grand Prix drivers, whom one of the world's top neurosurgeons describes as having "no evidence of any kind of brain structure whatsoever" :D

Amusingly, this is what happens when you try to mix genres: Horse-racing vs Grand Prix driving.
Not sure it'll catch on!
Wish I'd been there.
