I just spent 30 hous with my internet connection jammed flat out, downloading the first of 2 dvd's of the 1996 Monaco GP ( an excellent wet race won by a complete backmarker in the form of Olivier Panis's Ligier, by the amazing tactic of fulling right up on gas, and tiptoeing around all day until it was time for slicks, then stopping only for tyres and no fuel, and driving like a mad bastard), only to find out, it's in fuckin dutch. LOL Doh! Oddly enough I've watcheda bunch of "vintage" races from the 70's and 80's in German without a care, and after a few laps can pretty much understand the commentary, but dutch is like Martian :(

So there's me in my 1969 Matra F1, bombing round the silverstone of that era. And having started from the back of a small grid, I'm coming up on the first and second position cars who are having a right old scrap between one another.

JUST as I make a rather amitioous attempt to duck inside the P2 car and slingshot round the outside the P1 car on the same corner, I spy a marhsl's post, which resembls a shed.....instantly I'm heading off into the Boonies on the left of the hangar straight as the leaders piss off up the road.

Shed Games really screw you up.
