Well ok.... but it will teach me to check other threads before coming in to say good morning!!! I don't see what all the hostility is about? if you don't like what's in the shed and you're afraid of spiders then stay out. no one is being forced to read anything. (They're not are they?? is there something I should know about???I can make tea for any hostages if required.)

Aye, it'd been pretty quiet and friendly for a while... I do resent the statement that none of the people who post here are going to be going to the October gigs... Mike, Mick, Johnny, Maya, me, Cambo, Jack at the very least... C'est la vie...

Well the Blackpool gig will be my first new order gig.:jump: What can I say I'm a late starter. I'm sure it wont be my last though; And just because I haven't seen them live doesn't mean I don't love the music.... I love jimmy Hendrix too.... but there's bugger all chance of me seeing him?!?

Aye, Wembley will be my first, but I'm just not a gig going person... I think the problem is that everyone has their own criteria for being a 'fan' - number of gigs, number of posts here, number of live CDs/DVDs, etc. - too easy to criticise people who don't match your own credentials... I mean I've been a fan far longer than some who have seen far more gigs and/or own far more NO-related stuff than me, but then others have been there from the very beginning and have seen JD, etc. You'd think we'd all be singing from the same (NO) hymn sheet, but...

Very wise words, Minx and Gnome.

I might be able to make Wembley (but I'm not holding my breath) and that'd be my first NO gig. Around the time of the Brixton and Manc gigs last year, I was accused by someone (can't remember who) of not being a fan because I couldn't afford to make it over. :wtf:

Who cares? I know that one user hasn't seen them in ages, and doesn't want to because he thinks they're shite now. Each to their own.

Don't sweat it... Some people seem to think that you're not a proper NO fan unless you go to all the gigs- obviously a shed full of sloppy excreation!

They don't trust Irish people after the bomb ten years ago.

When I was at Download, I ran into a Manc lad who, after discovering where I'm from, said 'I was in the city centre that day.'

I said 'I wasn't, so I don't give a fuck.'

Walked off after that, funnily enough.

The old Arndale centre was bloody awful- good riddance to the consumer rabbit warren- although it would have been better to have gone up in a planned, controlled explosion rather than an act of terrorism that miraculously managed not to kill anyone.

Not happy with just that; they tried blowing up my home town of Warrington as well- Bastards!- That time they took a couple of kiddies too...

Yeah, deeply uncool that one.

Well I mean in reality it's all deeply uncool but not half as bad as when folks get hurt. But it's OK, they're all politicians being paid from your taxes now, so don't worry ;)

Bet they're all a bit panicky 'bout Nov- No NI Parliament then and the salaries are axed!
