Shed Less
There was a time some years before
When I couldn't open my shed door
The reason was I'd lost the key
And with it lost my liberty
I looked hard
To find the key down there 'mongst the weeds
And even in the packets of seeds
I spent a lifetime while the flowers grew
And I can't even find the key
Can't get free
Why don't you look for me
It's not quite right to be
With shed, without key
I knew that I could not exit
You knew that you didn't give a shit
No fork or spade would dig before
A ten foot shed with a locked door
But you know
I go through every part of mind
To think of where that key I might find
And I don't know why I even spoke
Because the fcuking handle's broke
Can't get free
Why don't you look for me
It's not quite right to be
With shed but without key
Can't get free
Why don't you look for me
It's not quite right to be
With shed but without key
I looked hard
To find the key down there 'mongst the weeds
And even in the packets of seeds
I spent a lifetime while the flowers grew
And I can't even find the key
