Mine ( that are used only in planters anyway) are alledgedly hedgehog and (???) rabbit safe.
However they literally vapourise snails leaving only a shell, and slugs simply cease to exist.
oh, and if you have tremendous slug and snail infestations, your garden is not patrolled by hedgehogs :D
Now that would be cool - an army of hedgehogs with a little hedgehog barracks and hedgehog tanks and hedgehog army uniforms enforcing a no-slug zone around your aubretia...
