Yes and no. Some of you I think are cunts, some of you I like, some I am indifferent towards. But there's not one of you here who if they asked me to help out with something, would receive "fook off". And I'm far from the only person with that attitude, tho some of them would never admit it :D

I agree with you Ron. Everyone knows what this is about, its not just the 'so what do you do thread?' either, there have been a couple of others in the last while where the same thing has happened. I thought the terms of use here were straightforward enough to abide by and for the moderators to 'police' for want of a better word. That's just not happening.

I used to think the 'perp' was clever, witty and had something to contribute here. Now we 'all take the internet too seriously' and there's a picture of a baby in a microwave on BCD ffs. Every response is a disrespectful putdown - for what? The pursuit of cool?

Its not just LJ either - I speak to a few people here off the forums and this 'issue' is now coming up all the time. Yeah I can ignore it and go suck my dummy, but why the f*** should I have to?

I never had a particular problem with the young lady in question, always thought she played the same games as me ( the say stuff you don;t quite mean to rattle braincells and make folks have a wee think game, I play with humour and hyperbole, she plays shock jock rules). But she's be downright (and succesfully) hurtful to a couple of very nice folks lately and I am dissappointed in her (get fuckin yoda here like). Rather than toss her to the Daleks just yet, I think she should grow a pair and say sorry.

Seriously, Mike got moderated for a while (didnt stop him posting though). And even though she doesnt insult me, the only thing that pisses me off about her is the complete lack of comedy in her insults. And the fact that most of them dont make any sense.

I've never met LJ, we never even talked much round the boards,but a coupla months ago, when I was being quite quiet on here, I recevied one of the nicest communiques I've ever gotten, from LJ enquiring as to my health and happiness. LJ will be back, if only because we all take the piss out of her for buggering off. As various others have said, she's one of THE faces at gigs and meet-ups would be infinitely poorer without her. As would this "place".

CM is astonishingly annoying, but then she's hardly in a minority there. What ceaselessly amazes me is the way the people who are so quick to play the "community" card are also those who mostly frequently break the most basic rule of any so-called "community" which is having a bit of fucking respect for the opinions of other members of that so-called "community". What tend to happen instead is that when people are asked to say, post slightly less frequently, or stop hijacking threads, or use MSN insted of the board for conversations then they do the exact opposite, revelling in a kind of delusional pseudo-outlaw status. CM is symptomatic of that, but hardly the only offender.
