19 actually. But since the Dr's former travelling companion the (later to be) Lord President Romanadvoratrelundar was a timelady, and claimed to get her first air car when she was 85, at university, you can see that 19 is obviously "still in nappies" on Gallifrey. "oh but SHE's not a timelady"...true, but saying it's OK for him to do rose cos she's legal in her society is like sayig it's cool for fat business suited sprog-touchers to go over to foreign countries and do ickle girls cos they are locally legal.

Having said all the above, Rose is fa from the worst he's ever had in the TARDIS....Perry? Mel (fucking Bonnie cunting Langford), Joe Grant?

I would like.... A non retard, someone who doesn;t look moronicaly at the Dr as he spouts shite, but rather says "ahhhh but...." and calls the fucker's bluff, and someone who comprehends "stay here, and don't wander off and get caught by the fuckin daleks".

Maybe Frobisher should make his TV debut? (frobisher is a 6ft penguin with a New York accent who Colin Baker hangs round with in some of the audio adventures)

You know what this means don't you Cambo? Yes that's right...time to put a few bob aside for the 2007 Tardis Underpants and vest set! Anything to squeeze a few more quid out of the fans.:nonono:

LOL...that's star trek and star wars yer thinking of mate ;)

I have my cut out dalek and my TARDIS microwave detector (one of those phone alerter things), I'm happy. Short of an actual full size BBC grey Dalek ( of which an example lives in the next street over with two gay chaps who organize who conventions...never had the guts to just randomly knock on their door and ask to shake it's plunger and see if it fancied a jelly baby) there's nowt more I want.

Me and Leanne watched "the Xmas invasion" together (no she wasn;t given a choice)....I thought I would have to call her an ambulance she took such a fit of laughter when the alien geezer referred to Rose as "the yellow female"

Spot on, she really gets on my nerves with her mockney antics.

It's pish now Doctor Who, really gone downhill since Eccleston wisely decided to bail. It's suffering from mass overexposure and I see in true BBC incestuous style they've started inserting references to Eastenders in the script?!! They may as well end each episode with David Tennant speaking into the camera "Coming next on BBC1..." :uhoh:

All the recent storylines are faintly laughable too and usually revolve around them getting into bother, the Doctor demanding hush, then conveniently wrapping everything up in the final three minutes.

Mind you it is a kids program I suppose.

Torchwood may light your fire instead...

http://www.bbc.co.uk/pressoffice/pressreleases/stories/2006/04_april/24/torchwood.shtml

The new series nails the Who spirit perfectly for me; kiddy silliness a few little scares, waffle from the doctor, saving the day at the last minute and plenty of running up and down corridors...

Billie was very entertaining and re-booted the assistant role brilliantly.

Have to agree about Eccleston's departure though- A damn shame.

Liked Ecclestone...I'm warming to Tennent, after a disastrous start. Piper is well worth one,if not much else:shrug:

I really enjoyed last year's series with Eccleston. There were a couple of howlers but eps like The Unquiet Dead written by Mark Gatiss was fantastic and probably the best Who episode I've seen. The Tennant era started incredibly badly and while it's picked up a tiny bit, still isn't up to scratch.

I suppose what I dislike about the new Who is (aside from being overexposed) is it's just aimed too much at kids. It's too clean cut and they should make the Doctor more of an unpredictable character with elements of darkness. So far the only scenes where he's "intimidating" is when he's camply shouting down characters he wants to be quiet. The stories have fcuk all complexity too, it's just "encounter bad guys/beat bad guys/skip arm in arm back into the Tardis". Alot of the scripts are chair-squirmingly bad as well but again, probably for the kids' benefit?

Tennant's portrayal of the Doctor is really irritating to me, he never ever closes his mouth for more than 3 seconds and I just find his performance very grating to endure for the best part of an hour.

Never heard of Torchwood, sad to say, but Burn Gorman was quite good as a weasily Mr. Guppy in Bleak 'ouse.

I haven't seen any of the new Doctor Who's, but it sounds like I'd just as soon stick with Tom Baker et.al.

SPOILER ALERT!!! - LOOK AWAY NOW IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS TO ROSE!!

Today, The Sun broke the story of Rose’s departure from the show, revealing that – look away now, spoilerphobes – the character will die at the end of the current season in the episode “Doomsday” as a result of an invasion by the Cybermen.

“Rose and I have gone on the most incredible journey over the past two years,” Piper said last night, “and I can confirm it comes to an end, for now at least.” Russell T Davies added, “It’s been a wonderful experience working with Billie. We’ll miss her.” Oh God, we’re welling up now.

Billie won Most Popular Actress at The National Television Awards last year. She is currently filming the BBC’s adaptation of Philip Pullman’s book The Ruby in the Smoke, playing heroine Sally Lockhart.

We'll keep you updated with all the latest from this story both here on the website and in the pages of SFX magazine. And you can find reviews of all the Doctor Who episodes so far, HERE. You can read our contribution to the BBC news story about Billie, HERE. Don't forget to vote in our POLL about who should replace Rose!

The Finishing school girl look? Or the white dresses with flowers?

A vision of perfection against which I still measure all women ;) Lalla Ward's still around and still foxy for an old doll....sadly Russell t davies killed her in this series.

Peri and her two assistants rule on the babeometer, but Romana is tops on the foxyometer...

Romana wins for me because in addition to beng the kind of woman, the mere sigt of which would make a charging bull roll over to have it's belly tickled, as a fellow timelady, she didn't just follow the Dr round squeaking "what?" and" i don't undertsstand" and "BUT DOCTOR!" Like, ermmmm Peri :) Nah Peri was OK, ther were far worse...Troughton had a couple of prize morons in the ship and poor old sly McCoy had Bonnie Langford.....oh how I yearned for er to be dalek fodder.

God; Bonnie Langford- If I had been in arms length of her with a crowbar i'd have an impressive form sheet by now!
