yes, dress warmly but our winters aren't too bad. Better than North Dakota or Minnesota. Not like anybody visits those places.

Ball mouse=open it and scrape the bands of decomposing skin off the rollers...the spring loaded tensioning roller is a real larf to do. Optical=wipe the lense, you may have to screw up a wipey thing as the lense can sit up a short "tunnel" and be hard to reach, also scrape the decomposing skin from your mousepad. You may also just have a mousepad that is shit with opticals.
if it's still wanky, use a bootdisc of some kind that has mouse function and see if it goes wrong with that too if so it's hardware, if not, you can thank Mr gates for mouse cancer.
