Anyone else caught Ianucci's ace new series? Takes the piss out of those annoying programmes wherenon entitities tell you how funny something was when it happened before they were born.

Saw the first one. Missed the second thinking I could catch it on Teleport Replay but for some reason it's one Beeb show they don't have recorded.
Sometimes think Ianucci is too clever for his own good. By half. Some superb ideas (the Blair/Cameron mash-up at the end of the first, and Eastenders where all the pint glasses where filmed separately then overlaid after the event) but the whole though of Charlotte Church coughing herself inside out just seemed childish and rather off-putting. Hit and miss, but mostly hit.
He is defo too clever by 'alf though. 
Too clever by half does describe him very well, I think every series he has come up with has had me both howling with laughter and sitting there with furrowed brow trying to work out what was going through his mind. This one's well worth a try if only for Ant and Dec recalling their past!!
