Ok. It has been quite apparent that there is some issue between you and me. Only thing I see is that we have differing opinions. On many occasions you have posted vague insults at me. Differing opinions are fine. But asinine comments that have been coming from you are childish.

So let's get this in the open....what the hell is the deal here?

Er, and your reasons for not contacting Martin directly to ask him this?

I've not noticed a single issue between you and Fradders. Must. Try. Harder.

Well there you go: pompously starting a thread rather than getting in touch directly gets straight to the point: you like the sound of your own voice rather too much.

Anyways, in brief:

I find your posts hopelessly self-important and your views invariably repulsive. What do you expect when you happily paint yourself as an unapologetic rightwinger who thinks that (to take just a few recent examples) Bush is doing OK really (it's the economy, stooopid!), that national service is a good way to 'correct' the misguided youth of today, and that shooting 'cowards' on the front lines of WWI was pretty much justifiable? I find Liam's politics vile as well, but at least his posts are honest about his unblinking loathing of anything remotely liberal: I find your dispassionate articluation of the selfsame views infinitely more insidious and yet drenched in the self-righteous rhetoric of 'common sense' that they're ridiculous at the same time.

I am grown up enough to admit that I know little or nothing about most things. You, on the other hand, come across as a vacuous cock-nose. I don't bother to enter 'debate' with you because pretty much everything you post on here is so off the sanity scale it sounds like an unhinged full-stop.

It's not personal; you're just a bell-end.

You had issues with moi, a while back, Mr Pontiac.

Perhaps its all about the stuff you post. It's good to see someone posting stuff from an area of thinking in the USA I only read about, but perhaps you shouldn't take the heavy stuff you get back so seriously. You are a product of the American Dream with a uniform.:evil4:

Now get back out there and bag some Muslims.

I was gonna let this one go but, having just read your most recent post on the Guevara thread ("go read your european history, dear") I am once again gobsmacked by your quite astonishingly patronising persona. Try leaving the fucking chalk in the classroom, eh? And try pulling your head out from up your not insubstantial arse while you're at it.

you know what. i had written something really rude here in light of your comment about my weight, making fun of various physical attributes of yours (amongst other things). but you know what? it's not worth it. you're not worth it. you think i'm patronizing--that's fine. ignore my posts. i happen to think you're incredibly rude and i find you patronizing. but frankly i just don't give a shit. so there you go.

I think we can all agree on one thing, and one thing only....

Goodfellas is on TBS right now, heavily edited of course...but I am going to watch it anyway. Because it's the greatest mob movie ever

That, and personal differences on an internet message board put the lie to the concept that a "worldwide community in which everyone talks to one another will lead to peace."

But mostly...Goodfellas :evil4:

I was going to mind my own business and not post here but now...

I think it's good to have a public stoush here. I was a member of a group where everyone was so saccharin and sycophantic that it made me sick. And I didn't trust any of them. No one had the guts to say anything bad about or to anyone. It was always sweet sweet kissy kissy we love each other. Some truth and honesty is good. Speaking your mind is good. Telling someone you don't like them is liberating. Especially the why part!

Like I expected, you can not accept a different perspective. It is apparent that when you post you want everyone to agree with you. That I am self-righteous is ridiculus as I have admited being wrong or mentioned how a different veiw is better than mine on many occasions. At no point have you done the same, instead calling them "bellends". Quite original.

As for topics you have brought up, I have never stated Bush is doing "ok", I only mention that he is not as bad as the press portrays him. And what would you know of the frontlines of battle? Yet you talk as if you "know better" about war than anyone else. I've been there, done that, maybe I have a different perspective because I have a better understanding of how it works. You might not like it, but it WAS the reason these things were done.

I may not like your thoughts either, but I don't go making random vague insults. Don't like my comments, then ignore them. Or give a response of your views like a man, rather than quick snippets of insults.

Well, I think it is. I've never heard anyone call anything a bellend. not even the end of a bell.

It's a different fucking perspective is all.

I don't agree with most, if not all, of what the hell he writes, either. But do not fight what you see as right-winged rhetoric with left-winged rhetoric

It's a shame for anyone who is offended by MF's abuse, but I hope it continues.

I have learnt quite a few new and interesting ways to insult people by reading his posts.

My only dissapointment is that, as yet, I have not managed to illicit a really bad one for myself.

When I do, I plan to have it printed on a t-shirt and wear it to NO gigs.

(After I've smashed his fucking face in of course.)

Underneath that Musketeer exterior, our Martin is really a bit of a softie.

People who have visited this site for years know exactly what he is like, and I have been on the receiving end of many a put down from him.

Instead of creating a thread - an email would have sorted any disagreements, but in hindsight it seems many people like to air all their shite on here.

It all makes for good reading when ye've fcuk all else to do at work.

Yer all a bunch of cuntybaws anyway :thumb:
