Pea souper in Aberdeen today.

Driving in was fun though, like you're permanently driving off a foggy cliff; couldnae see a ruddy thing past the bonnet.

Rained like crazy last night...early this morning, it was foggy as shit...now that's starting to burn off, and it's supposed to get up to 90 today...or it's 15 degrees right now, with a high of 32 coming up....

Normal CA weather, nice foggy and freezing in the morning 42 degrees F (don't use that damn Celsius stuff), then a perfect 83 degrees with no clouds in the sky during the day.

Sydney was beautiful today! Sunny and warm. Took the kids to the farmers market today and brought home a big bag full of organic things and made lunch together. They have been watching A Town Called Panic and love the easy chair ep so are obsessed with waffles. I let them have a disgusting waffle each. They came home covered in stickiness but happy.

We stepped on a Christmas beetle on the way home. I don't know what those bugs are really called, we call them Christmas beetles because they come in the height of summer...they are a little early but hey, that's global warming for you.

A storm passed over a few days ago and woke me and my bf up- I went into the closet space because the lightning was bothering me and ended up getting zapped in my right foot ..

i had two red dots on my foot's side and a small red area-it hurt for a while...

i can't figure what it is but it might have been due to the electrical outlets right outside the door- lightning can travel through electrical outlets sometimes...i think... but it felt like it came from up above me.....strange.the lights flickered a second before i was zapped...anyone know what i am talking about?
