I heavily suspect this other body they've found at Crowland will be another victim as well, making 4 that we know of in two weeks. There have been five others over the past ten years, with a six year gap in between, which might suggest that the perp was unavailable for a while (on porridge duty?). At this current rate, the guy is in implosion mode, wants and needs to be caught. Clever, as the bodies are dumped in water, this time of year the forensics will be very unreliable. This guy knows what he is doing, water damage is fast and an evidence destroyer.

I've been a life long 'Tractor Boy',and i can tell you that Town are having what might be considered a mixed season. Apart from the passing,smooth,and free flowing football that can be enjoyed at most home games,Portman Rd. is also famous for counterfeit ciggies, and prostitutes that make the journey from East London most match days

This is getting more frenzied now. Both girls were alive on Saturday, possibly Sunday, and one was interviewed on Sky News on Saturday. So he's been active in the last 24 hours and will probably attempt to strike tonight. Scary stuff.
Also noticed these two victims were found on dry land, so the chances of finding forensic stuff is much higher. Also suggests he's wary of going near rivers, perhaps.

Apparently, it rained quite heavily before the scene was 'secure', so the Police are worried of losing some forensic; some idiot of an interviewer asked the Chief Constable on the news how he could 'guarantee people in Ipswich would be safe tonight.'.............what a complete twat.

Yup.. it seems to be applied to a pattern of killing prostitutes. In the case of Peter Sutcliffe, the Yorkshire Ripper, or the current one (it appears), it doesnt seem to apply to serious body mutilation. The other Ripper link is that in terms of media, it is happening 'real time', i.e. each victim is unveiled daily or weekly etc. Its not a case of a serial killer that was kept all his victims in a shed ( ), or a case where later many murders are linked together to one killer.
At the moment what makes it fascinating, (and I use this term because I know I'm not the only person who takes an interest in this macabre soap opera) is that I will wake up in eight hours thinking.. 'Have they got him or if not, how many?'
BTW.. The Sun this morning have officially named him the 'Suffolk Ripper', and not the 'Ipswich Ripper'.(which sounded shite)
And apparently he's the swiftest and most brazen serial killer in British history.
Another interesting thing is the media driving him on. Reports suggest there may have been a gap between the first and second victims, but as soon as it has been reported, the guy is going into overdrive.
The most chilling thing is that one of his latest two victims was on live Sky TV on Saturday afternoon saying she would still go out regardless, to get business, cos she needed the money. Perhaps the chap involved is playing with the media, like Jack the Ripper did.
The media have a tough call on this one, because they need to report the crimes, and warn them to stay off the streets, but it seems the media attention may be contributing to the intensity of the attacks.
"Ripper" is also an Australian coloquialism for "very good" not surprising seeing as how the country's colonised by rapists and murderers anyway. Not that I'm biggoted or owt.

I guess we don't know if he mutilated the bodies though... The police wisely are not disclosing the details of what happened to these poor girls... it seems odd that they mention that the 3rd body found was strangled and then started talking about the possibility of more than one killer.
Hopefully something good can come from this and the discussion on weather prostitution should be legalised can be brought up again.

- Male, white, unmarried, early 40s.
- Criminal record, including a possibly six-year stint between 1993 and 1999, or certainly a sentence in that period. May have rape conviction.
- Below-average standard of education.
- Used to live in Humberside. May have moved there from Suffolk mid 90s and now moved back to Suffolk. Or has work that involves regular travel between Humberside and Suffolk. Works in shipping port industry? Lorry driver travelling between Humberside and Suffolk? Humberside connection is the series of unsolved prostitute murders there in the late 90s that suddenly stopped.
- Was ripped off recently by a clipper, or has erectile problems that caused him recent enbarrassment. No reference to sexual assault by police yet, or extreme violence, which you would usually associate with prostitute murder.
- Knows his forensics, knew to conceal 1st body so that it was found after the 2nd one etc, has read the classic serial killer studies etc.
You wait and see (hopefully not too long!) but at least 4 of these 6 will be correct.

possibly a taxi driver if not a trucker...definitely someone who drives a lot. Has done manual labour type jobs in the past.
In an on off relationship, abusive (woman may even be in on it to some degree).
Has a basic knowledge of forensics as most people do now because of all the programs on it.
Education level school maybe college but not further.
I'm not convinced that he has something against prostitutes and that's why he targets them, I think it more likely that they are an easy target if it carries on over Christmas and new year (god forbid)it could well be a drunken woman on her way home next.

I'm thinking older because I am convinced that he was responsible for the murders between 92 and 99 in that area as well, and the port connection is making me think about the Humberside murders in 98 too. Not sure what's happened with that Lincolnshire one at the weekend, may be entirely separate or could be the one that breaks the mould, i.e. a deliberate attempt to confuse the investigation.

But I don't think it is connected to old unsolved cases due to the flurry of activity...perhaps the first murder is being relived through the following ones...it may even be that his first victim has yet to be found and that there is a connection between him and that victim, rather than it being a random target.

Five dead so far, Suffolk police have brought in the met and norfolk police forces to help catch this person.I wonder why they,ve not asked west yorkshire police ?
The theory is he's poisoning them,because there is no signs of blunt force trauma,puncture wounds or ligature marks. Now it takes knowledge to poison someone in one go,rather than over a period of time.
Truckers are easily eliminated (an 18 wheeler is far too memorable),plus the bodies were found in places unaccessible to HGV's. Ok a body could be moved,but if you're smart enough to leave the corpse submerged in water to cover your tracks,then you're wise enough to not carry it any great distance.
Judging from the evidence it was obviously somebody who lives in England, or was in England at the time the attacks took place. It may have been someone who is capable of murder (of that I am sure although it could be accidental manslaughter). He or she is definitely either male or female, but I wouldn't eliminate a transgender he/she type of entity. The person involved either has a thing about prostitutes or didn't know they were brass's so it could be someone without any experience of ladies of the night. It's most likely somebody that's alive or was alive at the time the killings took place and judging by the MO (to use a technical term) was short of things to do around the time the killings took place although a stress related murder could have been perpetrated by someone who was rushed off their feet. If the police had the good sense to stop trying to get reward money off the News of the World or wasting time on yahoo news they could read my views on the matter and have the blighter tracked down in no time so we can all sleep through the queens speech in peace.

The police might be withholding information about injuries and marks to the bodies....I think the poisoning theory has simply come off the back of press and public interest in the matter in light of recent events.
If the bodies do however have a lack of defencive wounds I'd think it far more likely that he girls were knocked unconscious by some means than poisoned.
How many working girls are not streetwise enough especially the later victims to drink or eat something that's been poisoned? plus the syringe theory seems too far fetched to me.

Heard the audio interview with him earlier. I'm not entirely convinced at all. I hope they have more on him than an interview he gave to a newspaper, saying he knew all of the victims well. Sadly not, I reckon. The Leeds fans were deathly silent during the two minutes silence for a change. Thats all i saw reported, and besides, the claim wasn't necessarily true at the time. The Ipswich guy(s) are/were far more prolific in terms of strike rate.

I was just thinking it might be nice for the families of the Zodiac's victims to find out what sick SOB took their loved ones away (if it's still possible). The main suspect died in '93 or '94, but there's still a possibility that the Zodiac can be at least ID'd if not brought to justice
